a coworker of mine has asked me to see if i can find as home for a 6 year old great dane, male. she was at a shelter getting a cat and this guy brought the dog in because he could not take care of it anymore, he was moving into a small house. the shelter was full and the guy told them he was just going to abandon it to die on the street. my coworker heard this and despite the fact that she has an 18 month old baby at home, took the dog figuring she could find someone to take it. she fell in love with the dog, she says he is the calmest sweetest dog she has ever met, she has a mut at home and the great dane loves to play with him, the problem being due to the dogs size and no other reason she cannot keep him because he accidently knocks the baby over all the time. it breaks her heart to have to give the dog to another family, and she by no means wants to have the dog put to sleep, so she is going to keep it and try to deal with its size until she can find a good home for him. i just thought i would take all measures i could to help her find a home for the dog, so if anyone in the tristate area wants or knows someone who wants a beautiful great dane dog, please PM me, i would take him but i live in a row home and that would torture and plus lucy is a handful right now.............................hey mia i know if you were near me, you would take this beauty, but you would have to leave your hubby first!!! thanks
