i made a swim tank out of a old diesel tank 10' long 4' tall cylinder shape i cut the top off ran a chain down the middle of it like a slat mill i tried all my dogs in it and it didnt work as good as i hoped they turn and reach for the side to get out how can i get them to stay in it swimming rite my idea is to bolt a piece of plywood on the inside of the tank 5' long 2 or 3' tall on each side as a blinder so they cant put thier feet on the sides to get out any other ideas

get an old swing set frame and use that to suspend the dog over the middle of the tank attatched to a harness

thanks crossfire for the idea i hook them up in a harness on the chian that runs down the middle of it just like a slat mill. they turn and grab on the sides though. you wouldnt happen to have a picture of the swing set set up ? so i can see how it works

I know people with greyhounds use the swimmingtank for conditioning their dogs for the race, but never seen one personaly.
