I have a 18 week old male, he has got to where he pukes all the time for the last week or so, he does drink way too fast and will puke his water back up when he guzzles it, wich may be normal, but it seems like everytime he eats, he pukes. My wife dumped some scraps out side earlier, when i let him out to pee, he went over to the scraps and ate. He came back in and has puked up the scraps 3 times now, wich doesnt surprise me seeing as he has been doing this on and off for about a week..other than the puking, he acts normal, still playful as heck and wont leave my 10 year old female alone, constantly picking on her..lol..he hasnt seemed to lose any weight. He has been wormed by the vet twice and by me twice..HELP!!

I would restrict his food and water intake a bit. Some dogs are overzealous and just eat and drink WAY too fast. I have two dogs that do the same thing. If you left out 10 gallons of water, they would do their best to race to the bottom of the container. I started giving them smaller amounts of water more frequently. If you pull his skin up, it should rebound to original shape very fast or he might be a little dry. Count how long it takes the skin to go to flat. Anything over 1 is getting dry. I have to monitor these dogs more since I give them smaller amounts of water. A smaller bowl every few hours seems to help prevent the puking. I would be careful about feeding human scraps. That could be upsetting his stomach as well. I don't feed my dogs any table scraps. It is personal preferance but really there needs to be a differance between human and dog food. Dogs do better eating the same thing every single day. It throws their system out of whack if you are mixing people and kibble all the time. I hope some of this might help.

Is he eating grass when you let him out mopower? Alot of dogs eat grass because of an upset stomach, the grass will make them puke as it can't digest it.

For the water you can also try one of the automatic waterers.I had to do that for a puppy. They would drink too much too fast. Also you need to have it checked out by a vet.It may be something very simple as ingesting too fast, but it could also be something wrong intestinally or even a condition called Megaesophagus .Left untreated can be fatal. Here is a link to some useful info on the condition: http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_megaesophagus.html

after cleaning puke up 6 times today, i noticed that none of the food was even chewed up, it was still whole, so it looks like he was just inhaling it as NONE of it had been chewed, would that cause a lot of puking?
