For you guys who use road work or threadmill for conditioning what do you recomend to toughen your dog pads.

For you guys who use road work or threadmill for conditioning what do you recomend to toughen your dog pads.We never use anything, just when first starting, road work, treadmill etc. with a dog, just start out only for a few minutes the first time, then each time, gradually increase time by a few minutes....we never had a problem that way....

however, someone did mention they use this on another board.....corona hoof cream or Tuff Pad ( we've never tried these )

Wanted to add, odviously, depending on surface, your going to need to use your best judgement on starting amount of time & increasing times.... good luck with whatever you decide...
