My name is mike with Catch Dog the Magazine, letting every one know about it. It is a Bi-Monthly magazine the promotes the working catch dog and it's herritage along with hog hunting. Or Primary focus is Catch Dogs, and Pit Bulls, We have been pit bull owners and hog hunters for over 20 years and are the people who paid for the lawyer to stop the breed specific law in a southern parish of louisiana two years ago that would have outlawed pits in that parish! We also discuss other breeds used such as the Dogo and AB. We are always looking for pictures stories and young hunters who are getting involved with the breed and hunting. That magazine used to be interesting but with the catch pens closed its all hunting stuff. there is next to nothing about dogs in there.

This magazine barely has an ything about pit bulls in it. Its all hunting stuff. If you want a hog hunting magazine get Boar Hunter. This thing isn't worth the money.

They started off as a hog dog magazine but now that the catch pens are almost all gone they are getting away from that.

Im really into hog catch im not so much into the hunts but since most states have banned the catch pens im lookin for someone to take me and some freinds on a guided hunt....It will be compensated with pay of course...lol

I'm getting a few trips together to Texas and LA.
I prefer parties of three or more.

Strictly dog hunting with bay dogs, catch dogs and knifes.

I plan to do a early and late summer hunt and a fall and winter hunt.
Use our dogs or bring your own.

I just got back from "Uncle Earls" and got a chance to meet the catch dog mag folks.
Real nice guys, but mag is a little thin.
Boar Hunter Mag is working on a story about "catch pen" debate.
We've heard from PeTA and HSUS on how to train catch dogs, and now we are going to here from REAL hoghunters on how you train a catch dog.
