Tant's Gr Ch Yellow ROM (confusion)

You all know that Tant's Gr Ch Yellow ROM, was sire and dam by Chavis's Yellow John ROM and Tant's Miss Jocko.

What I don't understand is how do you distinguish between who is Redboy and who is Jocko,

I think Tant's Miss Jocko, is Jocko lines, am I right? On Yellow ped, some of his generation are... Chavis's Ch Jocko, is he Jocko lines as well...

does this means the dogs name who begins with Chavis means it's Jocko?

I am confused, please someone clearify this for me,

If I'm right Chavis bred Jocko dogs and redboy/jocko and had some yellow dogs

Redboy is the foundation dog for the "Redboy" line. Jocko is the foundation dog for the "Jocko" line. Are ya with me? Dogs who were sired by Redboy, or sired by dogs who were sired by Redboy, or so on, are known as Redboy dogs. So named because they are the descendants of Redboy. The same is true for Jocko.And Chinaman.And Eli.And Tombstone.And Yellow. And on and on and on. Whenever a dog makes a distinct impact on a breeding program, the continued bloodline is named after that dog. Yellow was a descendant of both Redboy and Jocko, hence Yellow is known as a Redboy/Jocko dog. Descendants of Yellow are "Yellow" dogs, but because Yellow was a Redboy/Jocko cross, these descendants are also known as "Redboy/Jocko" dogs. Make sense at all?

so you are saying, Redboy is a dog, but make a distinct impact so all the dogs from him are called redboy lines, same also true with Chinaman, Eli, tombstone,... :)

Do you have Redboy ped? (I am just curious), so what are the derivatives for the Chinaman, Eli, Jocko, Jeep bloodlines?

From the Eli line comes the Bullyson, Nigerino, Midnight Cowboy, Boudreaux dogs. From Chinaman you get Frisco and Earl Jr. The list goes on.
