Hemphil & Wilder are two lines if OFRN's that are commonly crossed together. Red Boy is supposedly from Colby dogs.

Redboy comes in from Colby and Teal lines.Isn'y a dog associated with OFRN.Hemphill/Wilder and Sarona are three of your main lines used in breeding the OFRN dogs.

Redboy from Colby lines.... :(
I have seen Colby lines that will just give up, not work, doesn't have a drive.... it suspect redboy will be the same,... rather stick to OFRN (the best of gameness)

you must have bumped your head, or know absolutely nothing of game lines if you are discounting redboy. it is one of the most dominant lines out there and produces very well alone or crossed, do some more research and you will see.

The gameness is almost gone out of most of the OFRN, do to poor breeding or breeding for papers. But they will cross good with anything and it brings the gameness back out.
Anyone know a good kennel with some real OFRN?

if you wanna see some OFRN bred the right way....check out the stuff from Norrod. Look at the ped on a dog named Red Danger...you'll see what I mean. Most OFRN are watered down, yes, but there is still good stuff to be had. I get real tired of people using OFRN for any ole 'red nose pit.' Redboy is an AMAZING bloodline of true bulldogs and CANNOT be discounted due to someones ignorance. That line of dog has carried the next generation bulldog to a higher level of performance. Look at a dog named....i think its Rojo.....from Southern Kennels. Never seen the dog go....but its a pedigree to druel over.

Here's the link to my kennel http://www.freewebs.com/sgtstorm/
Red Scout is one of the purest Hemphill dogs on the planet , roughly 96% Hemphill's Geronimo and Red Dixie . Every dog in his litter is a gifted athlete .
Now as to the question of Redboy being of Colby and Teal lines . Well that's sure how he's papered but it is widely believed that he was of Hemphill / Wallace blood .

This man speaks the truth. As for Scout, all I'm gonna say is you got lucky that my EX-WIFE was being a true pain or you would not have that dog. I wanted him BAD.

what are the popular ofrn outcrosses?...aurora i notice that you got some red boy x mccoy (is mccoy ofrn?)...so red boy could possibly be from ofrn? sorry for the string of questions
Thanks for the info. Iverson. I checked out his website. VERY VERY NICE! I thought I read that he doesn't sell to the public. Is this true? Maybe I misread, I hope so. I really want one of these dogs one day. A lot of people say they have an OFRN dog and they don't really. "I get real tired of people using OFRN for any ole 'red nose pit.'" I agree! "Redboy is an AMAZING bloodline of true bulldogs and CANNOT be discounted due to someones ignorance. That line of dog has carried the next generation bulldog to a higher level of performance. " I got chills reading that statement. LOL
Aurora.....wow! Scout's pedigree is amazing. You have a picture of him? I'd like to see what he looks like. I bet he is a pistol. ;)

He's on the home page of his website. It's the dog on the right.
Thanks, WWII. He sure is a good lookin' boy. That Fern and Scout breeding should produce some excellent pups.

I look for characteristics of each dog and how to improve on them .
Yes , Bob Neblett crossed Hemphill and other OFRN blood with Colby to produce his McCoy line of dogs . The McCoy dogs i have go back to a substantial amount of OFRN .
It's more than possible Redboy was an OFRN dog , according to most people that have worked with that line . Brian Bailey said more than once he believed it to be true .
Hey Okye , sorry bout your luck . I helped Scout's breeder's girlfriend (long distance ) with the pups while he was out of town on extended business and spoke for a male before they were born . Indeed i am lucky to have him he was the only male in the litter and he's turned out to be a fine dog .
LOL i just reread your post Okye , i see you mentioned EX WIFE !

Yup I have been doing dogs all my life and when you get in the way of that you got to go.

You'll never have to question a dog's loyalty.
