hello, me and my wife are new to this site and dog ownership we puchased a pitbull female at 9 weeks from a animal rescue league , she's now 12 weeks
( the mother was brought in as a stray and had the pup there 8 of them )
and she's starting to play very agressive ( i think she's playing )
she will bite growl , attack your feet , pant leg, and even lunge at you .
and does not stop untill you get a hold of her to put her in the kennall ,it's kinda scary
is this normal for a pitbull (or any pup ) to do at this age ,
some say she's teething but i'm not sure thats it , this only accurs about 30min
a day the rest of the time she's very loving and loves to sleep .
she mostly does this to my 14 year old daughter , she can be home with me all day ,and she's fine , then my daughter comes home from school, chelsea (thats the dogs name ) gets all exsited to see her and the next thing you know my daughter is yelling, get the dog away from me she bitting ,she has done this to me also and it's hard to control her she's determand , it's like she has a split personality ,she just snaps , then she's good the rest of the night .
can someone please tell me if this is normal ? will she do this when she's older ? we want to take care of this as soon as posible . thanks Dickie & Michelle
