I've noticed that a lot of people only use the rep. point system to whine or bitch about someone. Very seldom in the recent past have I seen any positive rep. points. Just something to think about...

I will admit that I don't use it as often as I probably should, but when I do it is for both good and bad. And for what it's worth, all my feedback I have now are positive (I had some negatives before the big blackout...lol). Anyway - mainly I think it should just be used more often. Give people the props they deserve! (I'm giving you props, Crash) ;)
I have only given positive points and I use it fairly regularly. If I needed to leave a negative I would.

Here is an idea that will make positive rep points even better.
As most know, currently, we have the ability to adjust our rep settings to read (or not read) posts from those with negative rep. points. Why can't we have the option of adjusting our settings to read only those posts made by individuals with a certain amount of positive rep points? This would greatly help in those 8-page threads. For example, I could choose to only view those post created by individuals with at least 50 positive rep points. It's an idea.
If the site uses this idea, I will be sending my consulting fee shortly. Feel free to pay me via Paypal (LOL).

I use it for good & bad, and have gotten nothing but good rep lately. If the post is great, I give them positive red. If it's bad, well. . . You know.
RH has a good point, there is a feature for blocking out posts by induviduals with a certain level of rep points. . .

I honestly forget it's there most of the time. I should remember to use it as I use this site to learn from for the most part.

Quick related question: I figure that a green square means positive feedback, and red means negative. What does the grey one mean? (I've got one showing on my recent feedback, and I was just curious.)
