ok so here's the scoop, i am just wondering why some of the people on here are so rude to me just because i am new to this whole thing? everyone has to start somewhere and i am just looking for advice. don't get me wrong, most of you have been super nice and helpful, but to those of you who want to be condesending, please your comments are unnecassary and only discourage people from wanting to learn more, one would think that all of you would want people to more educated about their dogs, but i think some of you are too caught up in yourselves and yuour involvement to help someone else out. i have been nothing but nice and i expect the same, i just want to raise a great pup that's all.

Lil'lucybear I don't think anyone is intenially trying to be rude cause you are new, everyone on this board communicates differently...

yep...when you ask a question make sure you do the research before you ask then if you cant find it ask..if you ask or make an ignorant comment"ignorant as in not knowing"you will only get critisized...but you will learn soon enough what ,what and what not to say...take everything with a grain of salt.

it only gets better and if someone gets rude with you make sure its just not the way they communicate and see if your misreading them or if they are truley being rude or not,,:)

I try to ignore certain members, oh yeah some of those members know alot but like you said their to busy being a know it all when they know damn well they started off where you were. They get heated when you ask a question, its like soon as join this forum, right away your suposed to know everything. And if you dont, they call you ignorant....go figure...luckly, this forum is a great place to learn. But I have seen many posts where people are bashed from not knowing something, then they aruge back and in the end get banned. Most of the time they needed to get banned, because not all members will bash or make jokes about you. When they dont wanna take the great info that is given, then maybe this is not the forum for them. SO THEY REMAIN IGNORANT.

There are some times when I wanna just plain out cuss people out, but I know thats not called for, I love this forum, and i dont wanna get banned from here, and I like most of the members on here, few I'm not so sure about but other than that, this is a great forum.

Some new members just ask the question, me, I rather search and try to find it my self, if I would like to know something, rather than risk another bashing thread, I'll pm some members on here. *Which in fact they are more than happy to help me out*

People take things to the heart on here a little to much...no wonder so many members have that bold black line threw there name....BANNED

it's cool, i have been trying to do research, and i am ignorant on this subject, but my ignorance is not because i don't care to learn it's because i have never had a pup before, i don't know why people need to critisize me for asking a question that seems a little juvenille, we are mostly adults here, so i think we should b e able to discuss things like adults.

You are not ignorant if you are researching and asking questions...

'How do you know so much about everything?' was asked of a very wise and intelligent man; and the answer was 'By never being afraid or ashamed to ask questions as to anything of which I was ignorant.'

Some people on here get hot under the collar at some questions, and they don't mean to be rude...others just can't seem to help but be rude no matter what. I learned a long time ago to ignore the rudeness - if there is valuable information there, use it - if not, ignore the rude a$$hole that made the comment. We're all here to share and gather information. Not to make friends...but it is nice if you do make a friend or two along the way...:D

Hey Lucy,
I joined this group originally back in March, and with the first question I asked I aparently didn't go into enough detail on my situation, and got scolded like a puppy, by one person in particular. I was furious. Mostly because I am not new to this breed. After seeing some truly horrid people come and go in the short time I have been here, I can see why newbies are not always immediately taken under-wing. There are some very BAD people out there. Maybe some of the harshness is to see if you've got what it takes to own the breed (backbone-lol) Just a guess.
Anyway, the person who gave me a hard time turned out to be really cool and earned my respect pretty quickly. I think everyone is just really looking out for the breed, even at the expense of people's feelings sometimes.
I'm sorry if you were made to feel badly, but I think if you just stick around you'll find there's some really nice people on here who are honestly willing to advise you without being harsh. Good Luck :)
