When those of you experienced dog men and women say that you work your dogs what exactly are you doing. I need some things to do with my dog to get him creative exercise. I live in indianapolis so hog hunting is probably out of the question. I play with him all day and walk him for at least half an hour a night.
Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah hes about eight months old and like forty pounds.
I Walk Gremlin Take Him To The Park Play Fetch. Take Him Swimming And Our Street In Front Of Our House There Is Never Cars On It So I Take A Racket Ball And Throw The Ball Up The Street And He Runs As Fast As He Can To Get It. Also Runs Beside My Bike. FOR GOT I ALSO PLAY TUG OF WAR WITH HIM.

I have also been wonder what everyone does to work their dogs. I let mine run alot and cut back on their food (not a whole lot, just a little). Plus I play tug-a-war with them alot. What are some other methods people use?

I'm very busy. I have 4 daughters, work 12 hr shift job, and just starting to sell kennel supplies and dog food. So on the days that I'm too tired to get out and walk my dogs. I purchased a mill to keep them in shape. Let them hit the springpole also. May costs you a lil' change but it pays off in the long run. Keeps them in shape year round. Here's a pic of my female running on a mill:

I walk my dog about a mile a day and then play flirtpole for 15-20 mins. every other day. Just to change things up I will have him drag weights and hang on the springpole.

Blitzkrieg.... Go ahead with your lil bashing. You say I messed up my dog huh... That pic was her first time ever on a mill... Just been handwalked. She's all bulldog. I'm not bout to argue with how you think my dog looks. You do your dogs I do mine. Some people in to different things. One thing I'm not into is being a bitch... So go ahead and play your computer games... cause I've never been a cyber dogger and never will. Arguing with lames of your type gets you know where. Shit I'm even bow legged but I'm still All man!!! But to each is their own. Gr Ch. Jeff go find yourself. You got problems man. It's hard but I'm still praying for ya.

If you judge a game dog based on looks then this really is not the forum for you. Game dogs were never bred to be gorgeous looking dogs, when you start breeding them for looks, then we have a problem

I totally agree dominican king. But you can't talk with the blitzkrieg dude cause he's into staffordshire bull terriers. Nice looking dog too... But like I said some people are into different things. I don't have show dogs. I have Bonafide APBT's. Not saying you can't get a genectically almost correct pitbull to be a game dog. But talking to him right now I belive to be speaking a foreign language. So feed that staffy and i'll feed and work this real deal lil bulldog.

Well thanks for the replys i guess i will look into gettting a treadmill. You guys that said you let them pull weight do you use a harness. Where did you get it at. Thanks for the help.
On a side note there seems to be alot of squabbles going on lately maybe we could get back to the dogs. Just a suggestion.
