I always wondered what the father of my female pup "Paris" is mixed with. He's 120lbs right now and he's the only big pit i've ever seen that can perform worth a dam. The strange thing is that when you look at him in real life I can't seem to find any other traits of another breed like alot of the other big loose skinned dogs. This female off him is real nice and is'nt big boned, right now she's real cut and alot of people like her when I go out with her. Here she is at 8 months and here is her father "Samson". What do you all think he's mixed with to get that big? He's from an older guy I got this pup from and he's lived in the same house for 30 years breeding his own pits and does'nt care for selling them to anyone. It was hard for me to get this one, noone else I know could get a dog from him.

For your dog’s sake, and overall health, thin them down some. There is no reason, a dog should be that corpulent, just like with humans, it’s unhealthy!
Few questions for you:

(1) Why are you breeding dog’s with bowed front legs? Being how it’s a fault and on your website you state; you breed for “Big muscular bone structure”.

(2) Is there a reason, you can’t/don’t put a collar on them. Not the best image, to showcase a dog chained up with the chain around their necks!

(3) Since you seem so disgusted with the history of this breed (fighting), why do you; use the handle “pit” (being it signifies a place dogs were matched) and own/breed them?

(4) On your website you state; “we have the best…”. Best what?

That right there shows how little you know about this breed, and why you sure in the hell dont need to be breeding. These dogs are supposed to be dog-aggressive, its in their blood, its the purpose these dogs were built for. I'll tell you right now I would put my dog down right now if he were to ever bite somebody. Dog-aggressiveness and human-aggressiveness is to totally diffrent things. Game dogs are generally killed for showing human-aggressiveness, how about your mastiff mutts? And as for the other matter, I am not a dog fighter, but I can respect a dog that has working ability and athleticism and does more than eat and look mean so you can show off to your buddies. Compensating for something else with a big dog maybe? Do our breed a favor and call them something else, because there is little disputing the fact that they are not purebred.

No, I think most of us prefer purebreds. I have nothing against your dogs, Pit Shop. There seems to be more bull than terrier in them, but if that's your flavor, then that's your flavor. I'm not going to bash you for it. I don't see where you're marketing them as APBT's, so I really have no complaint. A pitbull and an APBT are becoming more and more mutually exclusive. A "pitbull" may consist of just about anything these days. It means little to me, as long as they aren't being fronted off as American Pitbull Terriers. Afterall, that would be dishonest, and I have no tolerance for dishonesty.

Well it's like this, just the way they are structured and bred takes away from one of the key traits in the physical aspect of a true game dog, and that is WIND!!!!!!!

One must posses all 3 key elements to succeed in becoming a true American Pitbull Terrier, as how they were originally created. Breeding for other traits eventually creates a different breed of dog, hence they should be called something different. Amstaffs are what they are and there's nothing wrong with that, but the 2 should be kept seperate even though genetically they are the same, there will be too much confusion for everyone trying to keep to standard.
