This guy is serious about them killing his dog, just like they killed his child or something. I would have done the same thing, made a whole site on the incident so everyone around the world can see. He loved his dog, it makes me sad thinking about if that was my male. I would be in jail if anyone harmed my dogs!!! if it ever happens, please bail me out.

Those were some beautiful dogs, that really chaps my ass, we have to do something about all this mess, somehow, we need to go FULL FORCE against all this crap that the media and states are doing to our breed, dont wait for them to bring their bullcrap to us, we need to stop it now before it even starts and i also think we need to get some kind of law passed to where the asshole media can not lie anymore, that is crazy how they can just make up whatever the hell they feel like and say it, they are the ones who started this big thing against our dogs, we need to do something now, no shit, before its too late, i cant stand reading stuff like this knowing that dummies are beleiving everything the stupid media says.

Sorry(not really) but most "law enforcers" are nothing but cowards. MOST not all were nerds in school that were picked on, people who really have no balls, and they hide behind their badge and their pistol. Do you know how many cops know how to actually protect themselves with just their hands. Hardly none. They are soo quick to pick on people with pitbulls instead of catching the child molestor down the street, or trying to find out who killed so and so's family member. To me the whole system with cops is "fucked." They treat pitbulls just like they treat blacks. Like wild animals that have no sense at all. What are they gonna do, start hanging dogs next? Who knows.. All I can say is the Lord is watching all who do bad and they will get their judgement. They will get their checks handed to them and they will have no choce but to cash it. So to all those prejudice people out there, just think about what you say or do, because you will get yours handed to you as well as these people out here murdering dogs for no reason.

I will say this about police officers, there are some cool ones but there are alot of them that should not have the power that they have. Police officers have the power to do alot of things that can greatly effect someones life and I have know of some that are quick to cover up any mistakes they make. A judge will believe an officer over a citizen any day. Get this, i'm on probation for an expired tag that was expired for 1 week!!! They wanted $250 and I did'nt bring that much so they put me on probation. If you think thats bad I can give you many more stories much worse than that. I had to pay a fine for speeding and when I did they did'nt put it in the system that I paid. Anyways I got pulled over 3 months later and it came up that I had a warrant. I was in jail for 3 weeks until my wife came to my court and showed them that I paid for my ticket!!!! Then the judge was like "Your free to go" And what about being in jail for something I did'nt do? This was last year and the only time i've been in jail.

It's really sad and I can't imagine what I would do if ever faced with a situation like that.. It appears the cops were very wrong and I agree with most of what ya'll have said..
Besides, that though! WHAT? Some cops killed my dog that was out running the streets so I going to start a kennel, name it after my dog (MACHO :rolleyes: ) and then peddle the hell out of puppies? That will show them, to shoot my dog :eek: --- seems to me, he should be making some different efforts..

Good post Jenn. I was thinking the same thing myself. Why the hell were these dogs running around everywhere? Sounds like an irresponsible owner.

I'm pretty sure 2 of his dogs just got loose somehow and they were looking for them. When the police found them running away they shot them. Anyones dog could get loose, especially pits, they are good at this. They really loved that dog and there's no way they were irresponsible, he was the family pet. I think he just got loose and was running around, just like my dogs would do if they had a chance to have fun running around the neighborhood after escaping from the fence. As for starting the kennel I agree that was not a help.

This is the exact reason I live where I do. If one of our dogs happens to get loose out here, the only thing they can get into is something of mine. It is sad to see the shape our law enforcement is in, it seems any idiot can become a cop.

Very well put. We only one 1 dog, Xena, but she's an inside dog. If you can't control you dog, reguardless of breed, don't own one. Remember if people see a pit bull running loose they are going to freak out.

it's a very sad situation. However, if the dogs were properly contianed, it wouldnt have happened. Secondly, granted it sounds like the dogs were just running and no immediate threat but do you realize how many aggessive dogs police officers face? One, because of the uniform, dogs seem to not like them. (the whole color blind thing and that most people fail to socialize their dogs with people in uniform..mailperson, police, fire, etc)

Im not saying they had justification for shooting the dogs.. but I am saying maybe we arent getting the full story. Maybe they had problems before with this man and his dogs running loose..

just because the dogs are family dogs does not mean they are wellbehaved outside the family ..

but they certainly looked well mannered, loving family dogs..a shame. Hopefully he can fight and get justice.

Yeah, there's always 2 stories, but odds are that they were trigger happy with that running pit, atleast that's how they are here. It's funny that he had to actually move away from the area because of all the angry police. Did you see how dumb that officer was who said he's not giving out his last name and he still sent it along with his e-mail address for everyone to see? I was cracking up, it's the last letter on the bottom.
