I have a 2 1/2 month female and my neighbor found a 7 month old female in her yard!!! no one has claimed it and she said she was taking it to the pound. I had to take her in!!......They love each other..(for now) and burn of alot of energy playing together. Everyone and even a dog trainer thinks it's a bad idea to keep two females......Is there anyone else here that has advise, who actually has had two females together??

keeping them around each other in heat (however ya spell it) isnt a good idea but they usually dont come in heat until around 8 to 12 months. but as young as you say they are i guess it wouldnt be a anything to worry about for awhile. if anything does happen it it shouldnt be a prob for awhile.

In time , they will need to be separated, regardless if they're in heat or not. Maybe, keep one inside and one out.

I have a couple of female APBTs. My oldest is 6 the youngest is 7months.As long as there are no toys or anything to fight over there alright.I keep a close eye on them though.I also have an 18month old female who i`ve had since she was a pup,she doesn`t like any other dogs now male or female, but loves people.

I would not keep them together unless they are supervised w/no toys or food around. Also during heat, don't keep them together. i guess it all depends on your dogs though. you will have to be the judge of that. i've had females that get along great w/each other and share food and toys, then i've had some that won't let another female get in her sight w/o going nuts. either way, be careful, and keep them locked up seperate when you leave!
yea like wayne said keep a close eye on them... and i would also have to agree with chains off too, keep one in and one out...

i have one that's 6 months old and the other is almost 3 years and they get along fine. they don't have a problem playing with toys together or chewing on bones, sometimes they will growl at each other but that's it. my older one doesn't like other dogs at all but this is her child so that may or may not make a difference. imo just teach them what's allowed and what's not and it MIGHT be ok.

Congrats on the new pup, all dogs are diffrent so watch them to see what they do. And remember, they are pits and were not bred to be playmates with eachother so keep this in mind at all times. Supervised time together shouldn't be a problem, if there is, keep them apart. Again the key word is SUPERVISION , you turn your back for a second and they could be on eachother. Hope it works out for ya.

I have two females that are together.Cyn in almost2 1/2 and Minnie just turned 1.They've been together since Minnie was a wee one and they get along great. However Cyn doesn't like others. So you just need to watch them closely and judge. It all depends on their behavior.
