Anyone know how to cure a fresh hide?

I've never done a cow hide, but wouldn't the scrape it, salt it, and leave it to dry method work? Works for all other types of hide.

I've never done a cow hide, but wouldn't the scrape it, salt it, and leave it to dry method work? Works for all other types of hide.That's what I figured. I just talked to a taxidermist and that's what he told me to do. I found a place here that will sell green hides.
