Good idea. If you are into the XXL or Blue dogs you can go directly to this link.

I guess the question I would have is. If people just go to that particular spot to find the XXXL and Blue dogs what would they gain from the rest of the site?

It sounds like if the dog doesn't meet a certain criteria then some people would rather not have them here IMO. this is not meant to start any agruments or anything but the pit is a versatile as people and comes in many different sizes shapes and colors.

I have some so called XXXL pits in my yard but I don't have them because of it, it is just the way they grew. I love all the variations you find with this breed and the temperament is excellent. I would not own another breed of dog.

all of these dogs SHOULD be bred for one standard. Lets NOT create new links and catergories, it will only complicate our breed more.

You do have a good point there. But even with all of the different variations, of dogs, it would be easier for those people who are just looking for those big blues or those XXXL dogs out there to find what they are looking for. Thats my opinion. Hell I wish we had a list of "recommended kennels". I think that would be cool. Maybe we can get together circle and get some other link moderators to help us out with it? Just an idea.

I thought about doing that before but there is a search lol.. if one is looking for those particular dogs, they can do a search and those kennels should show up as long as they have keywords

But if thats what the majority of the community wants, then I'll go ahead and set it up. I just dont hope it leads to negativity towards those kennels..

In my opinion, it doesn't matter to me whether or not there is an extra category for those types of dogs. But I do think that the members should be more active replying to links and such as they do threads and images in the gallery.

The links directory has been up a long time and there are very few replies to any of the links contained within it. Posting to links let other people know what others' opinion(s) on the site is so they will know about what to expect from that site and make an informed decision whether or not they should visit that link.

A new Directory has been added to the Links.

It is for websites that are geared towards the following types of dogs: Blues, Merles, XL (dogs over 70 lbs) Short and wide, AKC/UKC dogs and any other "rare" type of APBT

I hope this makes it better

Also.. If you visit a link, PLEASE ,if you have time, give a brief comment on what you liked, disliked. It helos if more tha just the link mods do this because I know I myslef can be opinionated when it comes to certain types of dogs or how people choose to breed ..
