What do you think about using Mayday/Boyles as an out to a Termite top and bottom? Somebody give me some Pro/Cons, I don't know enough about Termite.

i think you would be better off using just the Boyles blood with the Termite stuff.
To much in the mix and take out the uniformity all together, just my opinion.
The boyles stuff would be the way to go,but i believe in doing what it takes in order to make the breed better. Just because it has not been done before doesent mean its wrong. As long as your culling the ones that turn out to not be what your breeding for. I hope that your breeding for a purpose and not for the sake of experimentation.

KADO who about just learning about gamedogs first!! Why even think of breeding when you are GREEN . No matter what bloodline you got a GREENHORN will just ruin more dogs. thats one of the problems i got with people owning these dogs. the only education you get is offline. "it takes 3 generation to make a APBT a german shephard " a foundation of shiteaters produceing 1000 pups a year is what we have now. if i would have asked my mentor your question he would have run me out his yard. DO UNDERSTAND WHY????

KADO i cant make you do anything. just because you think a certain bloodline does somthing dont make it true . a dog bites hard cuz it wants to. dogs dont just have stamina you need to work on it. are you able to tell a hard bite or stamina ? do you know the different between a shiteater & a ace look at hank he was a turning dog that would scratch till the CURR came out (pre76). D.B couldn't give that dog away. any bloodline WILL go to shit if not handle properly . WHY breed if you need to get answer from other people ? leave it to folks that know the dogs.

Kado you dont need these dudes to tuck you under their wings. Just read all the old threads and postings and you will learn a whole lot. Almost all important questions are already spoken of in this forum. Also go find the Complete Gamedog Book by Ed Faron im told that book is the one.

Your funny i think my dogs are respectable but i wouldnt ever breed em. I need a pair that has shitloads of ch and rom dogs id like to have a 7 gen pedigree. Im not into shows but those dogs any dogs that perform are respectable too. Id rather have dude breeding something proven, you guys were bustin his balls cause of how he sounds. All three lines can and often produce all the traits mentioned, mouth, wind, stamina. All three of these lines do really well when kept pure or otherwise. Breeding dogs isn't as black and white as people seem, and if your dogs are younger than 3 years of age, you should research alittle before making a breeding. There is no rush, and patients will only yield better results. Feel free to pm me and ask any questions you like, there will be no judgement from me.

Look kado, I understand you, but by hearing you speak, it's obvious you have a long ways to go before you speak or even think breeding. Not playing superior here, you just sound uncertain and green. Truth is, asking that question about the Termite/Boyles or whatever is only going to get you answers from people just like you who "DON'T KNOW". It's not only the bloods that click well together, you must first start with good dogs from those bloods. Don't let anyone tell you other wise. So see, in order for us to say it is a good cross or not, it's too broad to be asked. We know nothing of the parents, and for it to be hypothetical, it's almost worth not answering. Again, we'd have to know both dogs you were breeding, and since we don't, there is no answer for your cross-out question. I am very tired of folx coming on here, advising breedings, and crosses that worked for themselves...not saying you. Pushing other newbies to breed thinking they are getting lessons. Not the case. Greenhorns rarely have successful 1st few breedings simply because of what they breed. It's not about the bloods as much as it is the individual dogs Kado. And even then, it is still not promissed. Look at Gr Ch Zebo x Honeybunch. I like this as an example because there you have 2 freight trains, that produced nothing when bred back to each other. So either way, your still out on a limb. All of the breeders are so to speak, however their chances are completely higher because of what they know. Start with a fighting chance...Make your percentages higher.....PLEASE DON'T JUST BREED TO BREED.~YIS BLUE. *P.s. I will be starting a thread on breedings soon. I want everyone to chime in on em' because there are some so called pro-breeders that are still misled when it comes to various outs and percentages. "Yall cum back now, ya hear?"*

I understand you brotha.... I'm in the same boat. I got some more learning to do too. With that being said you can't learn with out the hands on. Kinda hard to swim if you don't get in the water...... but if you say it was Hypothetical then cool. but you got to realise it comes off, like you are jumping the gun so to speek...... with that being said every dogman I have talked to has fuc***** up some dogs when they started. So it's all good.

And to RNC, Your damn right, I would love to breed BUT, I may be a rookie but at least I'm educated enough to know that I'm not ready to. And why not be taken under someones wing? In all my experiences, the greatest knowledge is learned form the most knowledgable, not the thickest book.

Oldslowblue good post. it's similar to my first post but a lot less harsh LOL. one thing i dont agree with is that i think it is black & white to me they eather got it or they dont. they get bread or get CULLed they throws good dogs or they dont. & yes to much bad advice gets passed on here.

And to answer the OP The truth is and I dont give a shit what any one says its not so much the blood line its the individual dogs them self that make good bulldogs. You can breed two grch dogs and get a litter of rank currs. But some times just some times you find that pair that makes the perfect cross. Then you have everyone that has some of that same blood try the same thing and end up with bullshit. Know why? thay didnt have the Indiviual dogs that you had. Thats why you see so maney Repeat breedings. And to be truth full I did the same thing years ago and got one litter of aces the next time they were not as good. Explain that one. Some times god just smiles on you!
