Just wanted to take the time to enlight'n folx on a very touchy subject in our area. Didn't realize people were still under the belief Lukane came off of MayDay. He is actually the double bred son of Deadlift. Not too much difference, just NO BOLIO TOMBSTONE! Pure RBJ. Thanks for listening.... any1 else know of this?

Wish I cud bro. But like Powerhouse, there wasn't any proof b/c Deadlift wasn't DNA'd. Lukane was sent to Natural Born as a pup. After he got his name up, he was registered under an offspring of Mayday. Powerhouse was pissed but could never prove it.

I understand you being skeptical, but this was intended for actual front runners of the Lukane blood. Unlike more recent "so called dogmen", newbies, rookies, plumb fools, or whatever have u, my camp consist of the guys pre 76. Although I wasn't there, the owners were. I learn from the old tymers, because today, sad but true, it's the blind leading the blind. Just to show you a fine example, I bet this is your first time hearing of it. Old topic round here. I know you said the dog wasn't dna'ed but im just say what is thepoint you know. Mabye you are right and lukane wasnt a mayday dog, I personally dont think he is or even resembles him except mabye in color. I like information and I'll take what i can get. I just seems there is something like this in every line.

sometimes depending on who say what there word should be good enuf. look at all the people buying pups just off someones word of what a dog did. most people on the site have dogs off certin dogs and never seen that dogs history.

1st off, Lukane was bred by Southern Kennels and 2nd, NBK never had Lukane until a few years after he was made GR CH by STP!

Hearsay will always be hearsay, unless you were there...even if you seen it with your own eyes, "not everything that glitters is gold!"

Lol. O.k. You're right Trip. I should have never started this thread. Emotions get involved, and I can't prove anything. Like Gator was off of Otis, not Tab. Was off just a lil on the facts, but this came from a str8 ol' schooler. I wasn't there, so I wouldn't know. Although this was once a sport amongst Kings, naturally folx back in the day didn't mind hangin' papers for the fact of no one really knowing what they were running. Either way he was bred, he was a good dog none the less. And now a- days, that's what you can go by. The only thing. From now on, I will keep the he/she say to myself. However, I may add, that I am from the land in which this thing first came about. In the late 50's, there were only a few hundred fanciers of this breed. Florida housed it's fair share of good dogmen in these times. I was lucky enough to grow up and be under the wings of some of the best of them. They never taught me wrong, and I guess after getting an earful, I took it, and ran with it. I apologize to this entire site for that. But I will think my thoughts, as you will think yours. I will run my yard, as you will run yours, but sometimes this so-called hear-say, could be good information as to what will work today. Although I ran my mouth on this one, don't expect it anymore in the future. Bskull, you got me in this mess, but you told me not to share. LOL. I couldn't help it.
