If he makes you happy then what do you care what ppl think??
I personally don't care for the dog's pedigree, I personally think it's a shame that someone would breed a well bred female like africa to a male bred like that...
BUT if your happy and the dog is a good rep. for the breed as a whole then good...
But don't expect Fanciers here to be beside them selfs...
Best of Luck with your dog.

Roe man you shoulda known folks were gonna hate. If you even have a touch of Amstaff in your ped your dog is totally discounted. Even though in about 20 years about 90% of the dogs or dogs bred down from these dogs will practically be Amstaffs. After all how many of us REALLY know what our dogs were bred from. I bet even ole rooster has a bit of Amstaff in one of his peds down the line. Don't get me wrong I love gamedogs and the history behind them. But a lot of Amstaffs have the same blood behind them and some were used in the box pre-197? by renowned dogmen. So who cares if they took a TNT dog(part eli by the way) back to some eli blood. I sure don't and hope it works for you. I think thats a nice addition. Good luck with him.

its not the "amstaff blood" that is what people "hate" on-its the backyard rolls touted as matches, false reports, pulled CH certificates, etc. that is the stain here

But if you weren't there how do you know what really went down. Im not defending anyone but I am a person who puts weight only in things I know. And if you were not there and saw the match/rolls who's to say the certificates weren't deserved. Could it be hating on a blue dog? I really don't know. And neither do any of yall.

But documents can be forged and falsified. Since when have men been known to not lie especially when confronted with something they don't like.

Hey everyone, I started this just to show how happy we are at having him... Whatever happened in the past happened... it is just that... the past, lets leave it there... the distant past is what im interested in & that is in HIS recent past.... I posted what he has done, and is going to continue to do in the POSITIVE.....not anything else.... I don't want this to turn into a blue dog thread...... Thank you all for your comments whether bad or good... I understand that I will get both, im a big boy and can handle it, but lets just be adults about it....:)

Who was hating? Since when is it when you disagree with something you are automatically "hating?"
The OP asked for opinions and thats what bobby rooster gave, an honest opinion...no bashing...
As for my opinion, I agree with him...and I have a dog with some AmStaff in him...he will never be bred but he is a damn good dog to me and an awesome wp dog. He also does well in conformation in all venues.
Roe-Congrats on his first leg towards his UWP!

Whats good Roe how was the trip were the pic at? lol some SH!* about your dogs ped well dont worry that ok hope to see those pic soon. Ok homie keep your head up:cool:
Bryant - I used to correspond w/ TNT quite regularly a few years back. I even purchased 2 pups from her. While we were there, the "3xw" Trouble & "2xw" Sheba lived peacefully in the house loose together.
I didn't know anything about her doing dogs when we purchased the pups, but when I heard about the controversy around Trouble I asked her. She told me she got PO'ed at RB for calling her dogs curs b/c they were blue. So she *allegedly* decided to start competing to prove him wrong. She told me she took Trouble into anything, to include fluffs.
I inquired into the dog's looks (as I was told a lot of folks thought the reports were faked b/c Trouble was so clean) & she told me he looked so clean b/c he never sustained any damage & gave references in case I wanted to verify her story, but I never did. I figured with good after care a few nicks might heal up as to be unnoticable & figured she wouldn't give references if she were lying, so I took this as the truth & went about my business.
Then a few weeks ago I dug out an old yard vid she sent me to copy it for someone. This vid was done when TNT was supposedly doing their thing. It has close-ups of several of the dogs to include Trouble & Sheba I can tell you all the dogs were SPOTLESS. I mean crystal clear, not even a white hair, not even on the black ones.
And it even shows dogs kenneled next to each other & there was no DA from any of the dogs toward one another, to include the "match" winners. In fact, Sheba was running around in the back yard loose playing with a ball & had several dogs to aggress at, to include one who aggressed at her, but she did nothing but play.
roe - if you like your dog, more power to you. I agree with Bobby, the ped's not my thing, but if he's close to CH & is succeeding in weight pull, he can't be all bad & is on his way to accomplishing more than many people's "game bred" dogs! Good luck with him!;)
