I think most dogs that I've heard of go back to Coly, as far back as I can see, if thats what you mean.

There are so many bloodlines out there that have good traits that you will have to do some serious research on what you are looking for. I have mainly York, Gaff, Cloverhill and Orbans. Which is more the show rings and they have excellent temperament. Like I said it depends on what you are into.

MAN, THIS IS A NEVER ENDING DEBATE, AS TIMES CHANGE THE DURABILITY, PERFORMANCE, AND OVERALL MAKE UP OF SOME LINES CHANGE. AS FAR AS INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS, YOU HAVE TO DO THE DOGS. BECAUSE WHILE SOME THINGS LIKE THE GAMENESS OF THE REDBOY LINE, THE MOUTH OF THE RASCAL AND ALLIGATOR LINES,OR THE HIGH PERFORMANCE OF THE BOLIO LINE ARE A CONSENSUS OF MOST. EVERYBODY DOES NOT ALWAYS AGREE. YOU REALLY GOTTA GET YOUR FEET WET SO YOU CAN MAKE SOME SENSE OF THE COMPARISONS YOU COME IN CONTACT WITH.
GOOD WILL HUNTING,

isnt it tru i can breed to males to a bitch during same heat and shell have both blood lines in litter?

i think what your saying is that if your stickin a bitch in heat to two diff male that some eggs will be preg by one and some eggs will be preg by the other?
this is true.

Thats true, but I've only heard of a few "serious" breeders doing that. I was told you have to have to almost perfect specimens. You want to limit as many bad genes as possible.

i dont know why anyone would exercise this theory. maybe you could clear it up for me?
I have seen on quite a few web sites - where they have DUAL SIRES as I was told it was called. Does require DNA testing on all of the puppies and from what I understand it takes a while to get your results back.

I don't believe that at all.

This is true. The UKC has DNA testing for dual sires. Just read section E http://www.ukcdogs.com/rg/r-4.shtml
This is why you have to keep you gyp away from other dogs when you breed her. This is also why you breed her as many time as she will accept that male to make sure all the eggs are fertilized.
