View Full Version : Earl Jr dogs
How does everyone like the Earl JR. dogs. Taxes are coming in and I'm thinking about a new dog. Just so many to choose from, but was toying with getting a Garner bred dog.Just wanting to know your opinions on how the Earl Jr dogs compare with the others.

Very wise choice. A partner in my camp has a double bred son of Frank White. Very well rounded animal. We've had recent success crossing with the BlackJack/Wierd Jack stuff. Good choice, and gudluck!
Yeah,I didn't know for sure what I'm going to get.But haven't really heard bad about the Earl JR blood. So it's for sure up towards the top of stuff I'm considering.I'm glad to hear it crossed well with your weird jack stuff.I have a great grandaughter of Weird Jack that I'm liking so far.The ideas I was kind of tossing around was either getting something straight from TG with either Frisco or Earl JR blood or getting a Frisco/Skull pup from a guy I know[which would be alot cheaper and I know the parents are unbelievable and I have a pup already from him I really like] or going with another Hammonds bred dog.I like them all but only one's going to happen with what little the tax return is going to be so I'm going to have to make a hard decision.Kind of like a kid in a candy store,I just like them all:)

I think ''hillside'' has the best earl dogs. I have seen cross well with hammonds bloodline. are youe dogs at the point where you need to cross them?
No,my dog's don't need crossing. So far I'm really happy with them.I just thought I'd find something nice to blow my tax return on.Just a present for me.I have a couple different ways I can go with my dogs right now.I'm running a couple different lines of dogs now.And was thinking about the future of course, but really just wanted another really good dog. I thought either way would be good, just haven't made my mind up yet.I'd heard Hillside had good dogs too.

True indeed. Diamonds in the rough they are. They also cross well with the Chinaman blood. The old mexican blood to

His best studs IMO are CH El Negro for obvious reasons....Clyde and Rusty are his best kept secrets!

Yeah,I've been looking his website over the past couple days.I like most them, just wasn't sure which the best was for sure.El Negro is sure a nice bred dog, don't know how he is as a individual but I'm sure Garner knows what he's doing.Just not sure what the best for what I'm doing would be.He's almost got so many nice pups as to make it hard to make up my mind. How does Clyde and Rusty stack up to the rest of his studs? His Haystack dog sure is bred nice, just don't know anything about him other than what the ped says.

Hay stack is the shit he was my dog , i also have his sister the only female out the litter. They are frisco , spike(threw little gator), hammonds. Clyde is the father to hickson and those dogs have intelligence that is on another level. El Negro excellent dog but far from the best procucer on that yard .

What ever you dicide go with a tight bred dog , so when you bred to your stuff you can eliminate the variables. Earl stuff very hard hog dogs , Bolo offspring very well rounded and intence , Dynomite offspring also super well rounded , intelligent and intence , ElNegro well rounded ,intence , his little gator stuff intence , Hickson super intelligent well rounded offsring .Rosco super strong dogs and intence tend to be slow to mature but worth the wait . Just my opinion . What ever you get they will have great conformation for the show ring , his dogs are put together well.
