hey guys which is better to use chain or cable run and does it have advantages over the other....also what can i expect when using any of the two.....thanks!I use both and have found out that the chain seems to be the best so far just because with a cable you will have to make repairs to it. The dogs pull so hard that they will end up braking the cable runs pretty quick. The cable runs that I use are heavier duty than the ones you can buy premade. The chain will last a lot longer.

I use both also they both serve their different purposes. The chain is used for their setups and the cable run for daily activities.

I like to use chains for my basic set-up, and I use 50' 1400# per sq. ft. plastic-coated cable for dogs preparing for show. I feel that the cable gives the dog more room to stay "loose" during the begining of your keep. However, I believe the idea is to restriced the dogs movent during the final hours of his keep.
Just my opinion, feedback please.

fifty those are good points but i think during the whole keep he needs to get as much rest as possible
needs to be away from the hussle and bussle of the rest the yard
