hows my pup look??

i was wondering what you guys think of my pup, his names Kane, hes 17 weeks old, 25 pounds, and has the energy of a crack addict, lol.... hes great, but what im wondering is, by looking at the pics i post, can anyone tell me how big he might get? or muscle wise? he has a great shape head, and great definition for how young he is, so these pics may not do him justice.. lemme know what ya think...

First, look at the line. How big are the parents? Unless your dog was the runt, then he will probably get as big if not bigger than the parents. The method I use to find out how big my dogs will get, is to look at the puppy's feet. Compare their foot size to that of an adult dog and you can get a basic idea. I have also heard that you can look at the ammount of extra skin the puppy has, but I am not sure if that really works.

hes got a good ammount of extra skin on em, and his head has a bunch of wrinkles, , so i think thatll fill out nicely.. and no, he wasnt the runt, but he does have some nice size paws..

You have yourself a nice looking little boy right there. To me he looks like he's going to be a good sized dog.

Very nice little boy. Does he have brown on the back of his neck or is his other ear brown on just the ear? I have never seen anything like that, looks like his other ear was just dipped in chocolate. :)

The extra skin on them doesn't really mean too much.I have a 7 mos old that had extra skin when he was born.He is now eighing around 50+ pounds and has TWICE as much extra skin!

his other ear is brown too,it is just his ear, it is like someone dipped him in chocolate, he also has a brown spot right above his tail on his butt.. his brother has the exact same spot there....

I can tell you my 17 week old male weighs 12.2 #s soakin' wet! LOL and he won't be no-more than 37-38 when he's done. Nice lookin' dog,

A general rule of thumb we use at work is to take the weight at 4 months and double it, my guess is he'll probably stop between 50 and 60 pounds.

my female pit weighted 25 pounds at 3 months old and now she is a year and 2 months old and she weigths 50 #s.she was actually the runt.but she has more game than any other of her litter mates
