in order to keep things running smoothly, please put all requests in this thread. we dont need a whole bunch of different threads everytime someone wants a pedigree looked up

here is the info we need to look up pedigrees:

at minimum dogs FULL name as registered
dogs sire and dam's name is very helpful, as not every dog is in the database
registration numbers are ok, but many folks dont list by them.

so if you would like to see if someone can look up a dogs pedigree for you it should look something like this:
i was wondering if anyone can find my dogs pedigree for me? his name is Dwyer's Iron Mike, sire is Dwyer's Sir gallant, dam is Gene's Cloe. thanks

doesnt match sire and dam but there is a mill's E..from a litter of 5 a,b,c,d,and e...

nothing direct match for wish or snowball. but its cases like that if you know their dam and sire, its just one more tool in finding the ped for the dog

i think this dog is a sibling to my female. the trouble i'm having is knowing is palmer's ashes and young's ashes are the same dog. does anyone know this for sure. here's the ped i found. wildside's charlie is my female's sire and palmer's ashes is the dam. thanks in advance for the help.

What do the red, blue, and black text colors represent on these ped sites?

One thing I never understood. :o

I think originally it was blue for ROM and POR, red for Champion and Grand Champion and green for Winner.

The colors are dependent on the before and after titles in the dogs name. You just have to fill in those boxes when making a ped and it will show up with a color. It doesnt have to say Ch or ROM, you could put anything. That being said..A dog with Ch before his name would be red. Just the name by itself would be black and if the dog has a title like ROM or POR after its name, it would be blue.

If you know html coding you can make the dogs name any color you want. Green means nothing. Sometimes people use other colors to make their dogs stand out from others with similar names. It wasnt set up in the peds coding for there to be a green on pedigrees. Only blue, black, red are automatic depending on before or after titles, any other color needs to be created by the person entering the ped.

Yea cottingham is basically redboy and medlin (outlaw) which both go back to teal/colby dogs. yea i would say he's basically a cottingham (redboy)/chinaman dog, there's a few other things tucked in there but that would be the majority imo
