The Pit Bull Gallery is Now Available!

The Pit Bull Gallery is now ready for use, you may upload image, video, or audio file, but be sure to follow the rules of the site when posting any file or reply to a file. You have the option to add files to your favorites for quick access and are able to subscribe to files to be notified if there is any update to that file (i.e. reply). You can also administrate and add your own category or categories depending on your usergroup.

Regular members are able to create 1 category under Member's Categories for their personal use or to just show off their dogs.

Premium members are able to create as many categories as they would like under Member's Categories.

To add your own category, click on My Stuff at the top of any gallery page, click Category Admin and then follow the instructions.

We will be selecting a photo of the month each month depending on the ratings, replies, and views of files durring the prior month.

You can get to the gallery by clicking on Gallery at the top of any page and then clicking "Pit Bull Gallery (http://www.game-dog.com/gallery/)" or any link that displays under it.

If you can think of more categories that need to be added, please post about it in this thread.

Also, just to let everybody know... if you want to post pictures of your own dogs, please create your own category to upload them to. To add your own category, click on My Stuff at the top of any gallery page, click Category Admin and then follow the instructions.This way people will be able to tell the difference and you can show people your own dogs quickly without making them search for images that you have posted. :p

Yeah... the link to your gallery would be: http://www.game-dog.com/gallery/browseimages.php?c=20

Everybody else's would be the same except for the "20" being the category ID :)

Sure... you can do just about anything you can think of...

To edit a category that you created... click on Gallery at the top of any page and then click on Category Admin. On that window there should be a link with the name of your category above the Add Category botton. Click that link :)

Being that this is the holiday season, I think this is a good time to notify everyone about the e-Card feature of the gallery.

The e-Card feature of that gallery allows you to send an electronic-Card to any one, member or non-member, with the photo of your choice displayed at the top. Currently the layout of your e-Card is only available in the way that you customize it. Although pre-skinned layouts are not available at this time, everything about the e-Card is completely customizable to suit your needs.

To send an e-Card to a community member, a family member, or just a friend on a special occation, save your money on a card, envelope, and a stamp by open the image you want to include, click Image Tools at the very top, right hand side, and then click Send as eCard. On that page, simply type in the members name, or name and email address, of the person you are sending an e-Card to, then type the title and message you want to send to the recipient. After that is completed, you choose your layout and customize the colors of your e-Card. :)

Just wanted to say the gallery is looking great - cutos to those of you that have taken the time to make yours "top notch" (IMO) I think everyone needs to take more time rating some of these excellent images!

Question:
Is it possible after having one category already to create another and then transfer the pics from one cat. to another? (Did that make sense, LOL)
I want to create other catergories (instead of one) then transfer pictures that I have already posted in my one. Couldn't figure it out (sorry)

Well, there isn't really a way for you to "Mass-Move" the photos, but there is only 17 of them in your category. You can create the categories you are wanting to make and click on each of the pictures and then click Image Tools at the top right and then Edit Image. From there you will be able to change the category that that image resides in. ;)
