Fort Myers, FL -- Annabelle, a tan and white pit bull with a red nose and sliver prong choke collar, is still missing, but the dog's owner said the canine was spotted Friday south of their Phlox Drive home in San Carlos Park.
"She has been running between Butternut Road and Blackberry Road,'' said Caroline Williams. "She's also been seen on Oriole and Matanzas roads.''
Annabelle, who ran away Tuesday, helps Williams' 7-year-old daughter, Caitlin, deal with her father's death in a car crash 15 month ago.
"The glass is half full now,'' Williams said. "Yesterday, it was half empty.''
