If you're gonna feed your dog some fat for a keep I would just feed him raw beef. That extra protein will fill your dog's muscles up and have him looking full and he'll be full of energy. Good luck.

thanks for reply, have you ever used flex or wheat germ oil.
yeahi use that wheat germ oil in my keep when i condition.......but if your wanting to get the fat off him......dont do it WHILE your in the keep.......you have to tear him done BEFORE you do your conditioning........feed him smaller and smaller amounts of food till he is where YOU think he should be THEN build him back up.......this way works best with me.......it really lets you fine tune your dog's ability..........

Alot of dog men dont realize that fats are the real dogs fuel for energy instead of carbos. Like flaxseed, canola, vegetable, fish, wheat germ oils etc... and also MCT's like coconut oil.

yep i use corn oil cheap and works well plus the dogs seem to like the taste and when you add 1-2 teaspones you dont have to feed as much to maintain weights. when you have a lot of dogs this makes a big diff on feed bill especially in the winter. also any omega fats are great to if you can find it cheap. i also use corned hash. there is like 80 grams of fat and like 60 grams of protein in one can 59 cents.

Me personally I wouldn't really use corn oil. I would mostly concentrate on "animal fat". I would use Omega 3 fish oil over any type of fat supplementation with a lil bit of flax seed oil as well. Cause 80 grams of fat seems kinda high, but I guess it depends on what type of training schedule you have them on.

no what i ment was that in one can this is what it contains(cornedhash) how much is dispersed is another story. the omega fish oils i do use. caned salmon and i also use a gnc product unfortunalry the gnc product is flavored and and i can only sneak small amounts into their food without the smell over powering the feed.
