I can think of at least one example I know of this being done, but I haven't gotten any word on how its worked out.

im sure, as people cross everything to anything really.
the biggest problem i see is that people are crossing on name(s) alone, instead of the individual dog(s)
like anything-you have to look at what you are lacking-just because a certain line might have a higher proponency to throw dogs of a certain trait, there are still ones that do not. so you have to make sure the dog you are looking to cross in deff has the traits itself, that you are lacking in your program.
hope that makes sense for you

I thought about this as a cross, but after talking with Lou I changed my mind. Lou says Heinzl, and Boudreaux crosses have always been his favorite.

I think I was the first and only one to ever do it.

From two solid bulldogs, who just happen to be Colby and Sorrells.

Most of the Sorrells stuff goes back to E. Crennshaws Stu Fowler and/or Fitzwater's Goldie and some carver stuff.

The Goldie stuff is basically Colby/Wallace/Lightner dogs.

The Stu Fowler stuff is basically Colby and Corvino thrugh Cottons Bullet. Some unknowns in there, but most think they were Colby bred dogs.

I have always been a BIG fan of dogs down from Goldie or Zeke, because those dogs are behind so many good lines and families of dogs now days.
