Anyone familar with dogs coming off Wildsides Vader. I have a 16 month old male off Wilde's Vader & Wildsides Xena, so he's a double bred Blk Cowboy bred dog. I'm just looking for an objective view on this line of dog.

I dont like the wildside dogs that much but it seems that it works for alot of people who run it right.

you heard a lot of good things about Cowboy? He's said to be a good producer, I've never seen any but the conf show wins are there
he's also probably the most controversial dogs of our era, if you dont know about it and have dogs off him, you bought without researching.
not saying anything negative but it is what it is
those that have the blood seem to like it though

I heard about some paper work controversy but didn't take it at face value. What makes the cowboy dog so controversal?

how he was bred
like I said I think its rather funny people that have these dogs that lack common knowledge of whats behind them
its as easy as using a search button on this forum and its probably all there but people just jump into things without studying forums or knowing people that have personal experience with the blood theyre getting that can school them
its all about having a fancy web site, fancy magazine ads and making ridiculous claims that sells puppies, thats our generation

Thanks for that information SPFDOGS, minor threat, i'm new to forums period, so as far as searching them for information it hasnt been a priority. I like what I have. so i'm not complaining. I like the man that sold me the dog, better yet dogs, ED. I just wanted to know how consistant they are. Nonetheless I have always heard that good dogs are where you find them.

Thats all that matters. If you like what you have then there isnt no need to question about them. But Ed is a really good guy and knows his dogs. I hope you have good luck with the dogs.

REGARDLESS OF WHAT PEOPLE SAY, THE WILDSIDE DOGS LIKE ANY OTHER AE FAIR. WHAT PEOPLE DONT REALIZE IS HAT EF & DJC HAVE BASIC BROOD STOCK. THAT HEAVY NIGERINO BANDIT STUFF IS GREAT FOR CROSSIN OUT. ITS TIGHT ENOUGH AS IS AND WILDSIDE MAKES IT TIGHTER. FORGET THE CONTRAVERSY SURROUNDING COWBOY. HE WAS A GOOD DOG, AND FAIR PRODUCER. I SAY FAIR BECAUSE OF THE RATIO IN TURNOUTS TO TIMES BRED. FINLEY'S BO HIMSELF HAS THE SAME PAPERWORK CONTRAVERSY. WHO CARES? AS LONG AS THE DOGS ARE GOOD, THEY MAKE THE PAPERWORK, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. IMO, WILDSIDE SHOULD HAVE WILLIE. THE JEEP STUFF WAS CROSSIN WELL W/GOOD NUMBERS W/THE NIGERINO. VADER IS A GOOD DOG. I OWN A FEMALE OFF OF HIM TO BLACK POSSUM. COWBOY/RENEGADE TOP, MIDNIGHTCOWBOY/LUCIFER ON BOTTOM. I CHOSE THIS BREEDING B/C OF BOTH COWBOY OUTS. I ALSO OWN A SON OFF OF VOO-DOO TO LIL BOOGER. BOOGER WAS BEAU SAN\CASINO. VERY GOOD ACTING MALE, SMART LIKE HIS DAD.

you aint gotta sugar coat nothing, you answered a question i didnt ask. Basicly trashing another mans dog, whether it was from something personal is not my buisness, i refered my question to anyone that had personal knowledge of what vader was throwing. i take it u got a vader offspring or saw one hunt since you seem to know your stuff.

Personally....I heard good things as well as bad. Nothing I care to re-quote as it was all based on matter of opinions. I look at it for what it is...ANY dog/bitch can and will produce garbage just as ANY dog/bitch will out produce themselves. (smile) So be not discouraged!!
There used to be a Vader pup here. (Which reminds me...I need to update my website and remove him!) THAT particular dog wasn't worth the feed he consumed. Undershot bite, bulky as a UKC boy and just way tooo shy for my liking. I like a confident dog, that just right amount of cockyness. He was given away, to a guy who is gonna give him a shot a running hogs.
Does that mean I will never own another? Not at all!
Good luck in your quest!
