Lakewood bans pitbulls

Cleveland,OH -- Lakewood City Council passed an ordinance last night, banning pitbulls and canary dogs.

No more pitbulls or canary dogs are allowed into the City of Lakewood.

After three attacks in the past three years, council voted to outlaw the dogs within the city limits.

Pitbull owners opposed the ban but, after several public hearings, the city decided it was necessary to protect residents from these dogs.

Those who already have pitbulls in Lakewood can keep them as long as they are registered in compliance with current vicious dog laws

I Live about 50mins from Lakewood and thats not even a town its just a few streets Mostly a gay community like 80% of that so called town is just gay Bars i dont see how anybody could get bit by a pitbull or canary dog unless it was a stray alot of pit mix strays
