“ What is best for bulking up a dog that easily looses weight and is very picky?”

What are you feeding it now? How are the dogs in its pedigree (bulk wise)?

“the raw diet or commercial?”

That all depends on you knowledge of canine nutrition on what is better and healthier for the dog.

it depends on the DOG.....are you feeding him like you would for PERFORMANCE or just for looks......that is the difference i would say between RAW and COMMERCIAL.....i would think COMMERCIAL would be best for looks and stuff....but RAW if you want to get the MOST out of him and the conditioning or whatever you do........

At the moment i am feeding him tripe mixed up with crushed nutro performane (he picks them out). I also give him raw beef and chicken. I dont know about any of the dogs in his pedigree other than the fact that his dad was of the athletic type, his mum was also athletic but quiet built and stocky. He is now years old,20 inches tall and around 18-19kgs. By the way he is an irish staff not a pit. There are not really any good irish stafford boards like this

I have a male that I had problems with for a long time trying to keep weight on.He is very active and usually averages 41 pounds when I let him run freely in the yard.I added a supplement called Canine Life Extension and fish oil caps to his diet.He gets Pro Plan dry, with his additives, along with a chicken neck a day.I have been feeding this for about 6-8 weeks now and he has gotten up to 58 pounds last I weighed him.
