At 5 months puppy should just be healthy & happy. Too young to condition yet. Regardless, it is just a fun. And do just that.....have fun. Get a feel for what the judges are looking for. I say focus on your presentation of the dog.
Good luck and have fun.

I think she looks good :) If you want to break down the conformation standard, check out www.apbtconformation.com
But, since she's still a pup and will go through some awkward growth stages, I would wait a while to fully judge her build.
Good luck at the show!

Only thing that they might think is wrong with her is her Bat ears and thats about it. There really going to judge how you handle the pup and how the pup walks.

ahaha poor woot her ears change all the time. it just depends on her mood. If she is relaxed they sit perfect, if she is ready to play they sit like bunnies and if she is hot and tired of playing they sit like bats

I have a question for those who show dogs. How does a dog having full prik ears affect it's chances of placing??? I was told by a judge that for an ear set to affect youre chances, you would have to be in a compitition full of perfict dogs. This makes sence seeing as ears in no way affect working ability. However I have never seen a dog with full prik ears shown ,let alone place. Inproper ear set is suposed to be a vary minor flaw, but it is one of those flaws that ''jump out at you"" and can not be hidden. Wootness looks good. You two have fun at the show. Big Game

Don't worry about the ears. This pup took best female puppy at one of the VSBA shows.
