For your yard, get something that is for termites. It usually does best. Cut the grass, rake any leave up(they bed there), Soak the ground down real well, and spray with termidor or something similar. I also mix some of that insect growth stuff that messes up the life cycle of the fleas. of course dip your dogs before you do this, and then maybe do it again in 20 to 30 days. You can find the chemicals at epest.com
Thanks man! That's really helpful!!! I have so many oak trees and leaves and woods around my yard blocking the sun and I figure Iwould have to cut some stuff back in order to get all of fleas out of woods!! Thanks!!

add some garlic to there dog food, it gets in to there blood stream fleas and ticks dont like that to much, it wont get rid of all of them but keeps them under control, i have a flea problem at our summer time so hot here 40 degrees plus some times and the ground is so dry. i also wash them in malawash, and spray my yard with that too , hope this can help cheers

Garlic can be toxic to dogs so I wouldn't advocate that although some do use it.
And continued use of 7-Dust can and will also end up causing your dogs problems.
The best thing is to treat your yard the same day you wash all the dogs. Either use Advantix or Frontline (both keep fleas and ticks at bay). Wait 24 hours after bathing the dogs before applying the product. When it's time, part the hair in between the dogs' shoulder blades until you see skin. Squeeze the product out in the spot moving up about an inch or so if you want (or just squeeze it all right there). The natural oils in the dogs' coats will spread the product around. Do NOT put the product on the dogs' backs or rumps as they will only lick it off.
And if need be, continue to treat your yard around the fenceline.

I use Advantix religiously. Never had a better product. Although, I have used garlic in feed before to help with circulation. I had no idea it was a toxin. Thanks for the heads up Mia.

Ok I was big in pest control for a good number of years and my BEST selling point was I will make your yard and dogs Flea free as long as you keep using me. I know how to kill the little buggers. eggs and all. The cocktail is PRECORE, KICKER and Any good catalist. mix 2x strong for yard you will not be able to put the water per chem with a good pump up sprayer If you have a good power spray rig use as lable says. But if not spray 2x strength light threw out yard to kill whats live then rake your yard (I KNOW YOU HAVE TO WORK) I am talking about rake that yard all of it dont get lazzey. I used to put all scrap in a corner my yard and a pile all the time about 10 x 10 4 foot high of just leaves grass and poo. (DONT BURN WITH CHEM ON TRASH) then wash all dogs with a good (cheap soap if they are not skin soft) empty all dog bedding and put it on pile wash out dog houses with dish soap let dry. Rake all chain outs good put waste(even pick up dirt around axel in wheel barrel and dump on pile. then spray pile with strong chem . In about 6 months you will never have to buy fish bait. then use a 1/10th soultion in a spray on dog use only ( About (1 oz of pre core )per bottle then fill up spray lightly and rub in of IN A HAND SPRAYER LIKE A WINDEX BOTTLE) Now spray all dog houses with pre core and a water im cat. Then get off your but go to the feed store and buy a good ceder shaving and spread in all chain outs and give each dog house a good bit so a nice bed is in the box. To keep a nice yard and chain outs you. MUST pick up poo every day and throw a few hand fulls of chips in the chain out. you can take 2 bags ceader and 1 pine chips and mix in a wheel barrel and take care of 20 dogs 2x per week (about 15$) I can bet my bottem $$$ that will take care of your fleas. I would do this every 3 months an NEVER had a flea or tick or ant or fly problem. I had as much as 25 dogs on 1/8 th acre and no one ever knew I had dogs. Game bread WHO IS A GREAT DOG KEEPER AND KEEPS A TIGHT SHIP Can test to the fact the clean yard is so much beter than the one that is raked when YOU FEEL like it.) RAKE EVER DAY AT LEAST EVER OTHER DAY) REMBER fleas will have eggs that will hatch a few weeks after you do all this work no worries just pull all water and feed bins up and spray the yard as lable even less with the cat and pre core But use the kicker full strength. In house and kennels If the dogs ge a bit on them just rinse the off and rub in. You also need to spray your fence line about 6 feet band wash all kennel clothes and spray your house with pre core and cat only (do not use kicker inside Unless you can leave for at least 3 hours it stinks. I would be willng to help any one if you have any ?s please Pm me. YOURS IN SPORT
PS Clean up the dog yards and watch the Pico Fags trip out. If you are spick in span you are much better off ( I would not want a dog from a scum yard WOULD YOU have pride and Be a dog man or woman how yo keep them says a lot about your self) This will cost abot 200$ per year for about 15 dogs Are they worth it. Again any one that would like to see real results can pm for any reason I will do my best to help you out, WE NEED TO GET TIGHT AND CULL THE BAD the two legg kind . I also love Advantix. I do use Frontline though on the dogs that are water animals as it's more waterproof.
As for garlic, most dogs tolerate it fine in very small amounts. However, some dogs cannot tolerate it at all and in large amounts, it can cause kidney damage.
