hey guys im going to swtich over from innova puppy to the regular canidae all life stages formula, ive been reading that some people noticed a softer stool and was wondering if there are any other changes i should be looking for in the next few weeks. Also a quick questions i noticed that the canidae has bout 2percent less protein but 2-3precent higher fat than the innova, can someone explain what that means, and what type of effect it will have on my dog. Anyone have any expirrience with the chicken or turkey formulas? better results?

i think because ur switching form one good feed to another u might not have more than a few days to maybe 2 weeks of soft stool, don't quote me on that though because every dog is different. Other than soft stool i don't really know of any other problems u could run into, just make sure to start the transition slowly, like 75% old to 25% new and slowly increase the new and decrease the old. I would say wait atleast 1 full month on just canidae after u do the transition and then u'll be able to tell if ur dog is good with the feed. Now the higher fat and lower protein is just the different ingredients in the 2 feeds, i doubt that will affect ur dog because its only a minor difference

I've been feeding my bully Canidae and i am just starting the 2nd bag... Its been great so far and there is definitely less poop cleanup as to compared when I was feeding Iams...I know I know..thats garbage food, but I didn't know any better... I can also honetly say that he's coat appears smoother or brighter.. Does that make sense? Oh yeah, the first couple of weeks on Canidae and even now on occasions, Kenai has awful gas!!!! But other than that so far so good....

Anyone have any expirrience with the chicken or turkey formulas? better results?His stool may change maybe not also could be more or less of going crap.Switching food takes about 2-3 weeks minimum for the metabolism to adjust sorta like a "detox" period.
