Got a ? about a dog that keeps showing up in my dogs ped both top and bottom,...what can anyone tell me about a dog named
William's Sandy Andy?

what bloodline was he? I am new to pedigreed dogs.

Once you go back 7 or 8 gen's I can recognize the dogs in his ped but dont know much about the more recent dogs.

anyone ever heard of Escamillas Thunder, Holbeche's Captain Crunch, Hopkins Diamond,or Rodriguez Gator(out of these same dogs, not Rodriguez Ch. Gator)

Been doing some digging into the Doose's pedigree and have found that his bloodline is based primarily upon these dogs: Tudors Jeff, Carver's Black Widow,Conwill's White Bo, DeCordova's Bat, Williams Sandy Any, Ball's Salty Dog, Witherspoon's Bozo, Witherspoon's Baron, Clayton's Eli Jr., Carver's Night Train, Long's Nasty, Freeman's Preacher Boy, Abinet's Bismarck and Hodnett's Snow Phantom.


These dogs all show multiple times. Other dogs crossed in were Hammonds Bruizer, Hammonds Bruno, Plumbers Alligator, Norris Coaltrain,Heinzl's Gringo, Heinzls Bat,Carver's Spook and some blue bloodlines through UKC Couturiers Blue Bully and UKC Tyees Satin Magic as well as some Ruffian blood through White Rock Jet Bomber.


The way the lines tie together top and bottom tells me that Doose was not haphazardly bred, but I dont know enough about the subject to determine what bloodline these dogs are from. Most of these dogs descended down from Dibo and Colby's Dime, does that make the bloodline Dibo/Dime

My dogs sire is Escamilla's Bandit #6400H-90 and his dam is Nugent's Blue Ice #27500L-38

Bandit was out of an inbred dog Escamilla's Thunder#5200G-80 out of Rodriguez' Gator#18000F-45 and Wall's Chaos A.D.#85300E-38, brother and sister out of Holbeche's Captain Crunch#17800E-99 and Rodriguez' Jessie #60900E-22. On his bottom Bandit's dam was Hopkins Diamond #44000F-31, out of Hopkins Bodi#856020E-08 and Chenoa's Sage #74500E-31

Nugent's Blue Ice came out of Bates Rajun Cajun #22100J-42 and Bates Spicy Pepper#74000J-71

Rajun Cajun's sire was Quintanilla's R.A.T.M.#26600G-95 and his dam was Mealers Blue Shadow#8600G-92

Spicy Pepper's sire was Kirby's Big Jauch#34500F-66 and her dam was Mealer's Gertrude#93900F-37

No he was not haphazardly bred, bro. You must have just looked at the names without looking at the dogs they came from. If you investigate the blood behind the dogs close up, you find the same dogs bottom and top keep coming up. Perhaps he is not tight bred off a particular dog, but the pedigree shows some thought went into the breeding. Scatterbred?...maybe. But not haphazard.

Someone was obviously attempting to breed some blue Pits with game blood in them.

I couldn't find anything on the sire and dame of your dog, I was trying to generate a ped. When you say Rodriguez's Gator, do you mean Ch. Rodriguez Gator, I saw his ped, but I didn't know if that was the one you were refering to since there are so many dogs named Gator. Sorry I could'nt be of more help

To me it looks like they are weight pull dogs, bred from the Bighead line and crossed with some blue dogs.

I am sure that he will be considered scatterbred but what would be considered his dominant bloodline?

I can't really say what he is , I don't really know a lot about the blue lines. Anyway it does'nt really matter as long as you are happy with the dog.
