Mansfield,England,UK -- In keeping with the last month’s seemingly incessant coverage of dangerous dog laws, breed specific legislation and media coverage, I thought it might be apt to give credit to some of the media outlets who allowed the issue to be debated fairly and robustly without resorting to scare tactics or rampant, hyped up anti-dog sentiment. So, as can be viewed below, thanks to Sky News, GMTV, BBC News 24. There may be some non DDA clips in amongst this lot, so apologies, but Mia - my own Rottweiler - would appreciate any messages of sympathy after somewhat carelessly appearing on GMTV to ‘defend the honour’ of her breed and ended up bumping her head on a coffee table, thus managing to disprove the ‘devil dog’ tag but not quite managing to escape accusations that Rottweilers are prone to acts of extreme clumsiness.
