I have come down with one hell of a flu today and I was wondering if anyone knew any other preventative meds to knock this sh!t out other than Airborne. It just doesnt seem to be working AT ALL. 103 degree fever with all the aches and pains and cold chills with hot flashes. This f***ing sucks!:(

Tami-flu and Dura-flu and a lot of people around here say the Mucinex works really well with Ibuprofen also. Sorry to hear your under the weather. So far, I've been lucky this year, "Knock on Wood."

I don't have any suggestions...but it might be that "new" flu, one of my boyfriend's crew man is out of work this week. He has the flu, and the Doctor said that it's highly contagious and that even if you have the flu shot, you can still get it, because it's a different strand.

I just crawled out of bed. This is no joke. I havent been this bad off in years. I think Im just going to keep taking the night time meds and sleep it off. Thanks for the 411 folks. Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.
