tomorrow i got to go in for a arterigram on my heart ,,,as my age creeps up on me my health seems to be slippin,,,they done a stress test and it was bad,,,,so at worst i may have to have open heart surgery,,,but this is what killed my dad at age 45 so,, you know i just wanted to let ya'll know,,,,

i come by the site everyday wether just to read and keep up with whats going on but as of late i've been sick so i haven't commented much,,,,

i will be online till probroly monday morning,,,,but if something happens i'll have someone let ya'll know,,,

ghost you just go in like a game dog and you'll come out fine. These things often times result in modifications to ones life style, so keep an open mind. Nothing that needs to be done isn't worth stayin healthy for..ya hear!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you ;)

thanks ya'll,,, i'm having it done at the arkansas heart hospital so at least i'll be at one of the best heart places in the country,,,,

Hey ghost1 good luck. As another "older member" on the board I can tell ya it is normal for us geezers(LOL) for our health to decline as we age.It seems the older ya get the more pills you have take and the more poking and proding they have to do. You have to keep that ticker ticking so you have to do what the docs say.

thanks ya'll he said i have a few 45 to 55% blockages and they give me lipitor to try to get rid of it,,, he said in another 4-5 years i'll need surgery but maybe with it caught now maybe they can control it,,, thank god,,,,i feel much better about it now,,,
