1. show 'em the teeth

If a guard dog or a human aggressive dog is what you desire, look for a dobbie or a rott. Human aggressive/Man biters should be culled and culled quick. As far as people stealing him, thats always a problem as there are alot of dog thieves, you just gotta do your best at keeping YOUR dog confined.

That's definitely not a good thing to do. All we need is more bad press and more predjudice against the breed from the masses of morons that are already out there.

You don't want to train your pit to be aggressive, that would just open the door to many problems for you, your dog and your neighbors. I have a 95lb pit that was used as a guard dog and let me tell you it's not worth it.
If you're worried about someone stealing your dog than you should either get him/her on a secure chain setup or keep him inside. If your looking for a dog to protect you than you should look into american bulldogs or some other breed with natural protective instincts. I must warn you though, it might not be a good idea to keep the bulldog and the pit together even if they are male and female (been there done that).

..thanks 4 the advice. Y'all right, my pit is a good dog and he's not aggressive to people but hell when he comes to another dog,... It's like he can't wait..lol but anyway.... he still know hows in charge even sometimes its hard to
It's sad that people put a bad image on pitbulls. people that i know just say "ohhhh, thats a pit bull...he bit people" ..i get mad then right away,... but anyway...
i didn't new that DMX breed and that he got some champions too..

The dog is smart enough to learn to do anything. Are you smart enough to know what to teach it. Man-haters should be culled quick. Your dog will develop a bond with you and desire to protect you. It will devote it's entire life to you and yours without any hesitation or reservation, even giving up its own life to protect you. You have much much more than a dog my friend....you have THE ULTIMATE DOG. If you love and nuture these qualities and you can never go wrong.

This dog of yours should not be used as a guard dog. We get enough bad press as it is without us bringing more onto ourselves. If you want a guard dog get yourself a doberman but not a pit bull they are not even bred for that. Just my 2 cents......If that's what u want get another Breed and Sale the Bulldog
Like Every Body Else Said Not A Good Idea To Have Your Dog Aggresive. He Will Come Around. And They Have Good Jugdement Just Give Him Some Time.

Is it really a good idea to call people names? We're supposed to be open to people asking questions and trying to educate them about the dogs. Better for people to feel comfortable learning about things here than to go off finding wrong info, like about how to train your bulldog as a guard dog.

i think we should do the right thing .
1st:teach this kid proper grammer
2nd:teach not to make animal human agressive
3rd:hell i dunno if theres any hope
why anyone wold want to make their dog human agressive is beyond me,,the dog will naturally let people know not to mess round your place
