I wouldn't call myself a hater of anything and I love my animals dearly, but if had to and for the right reason, I would not hesitate to bring one down. I think no animal should take the place over man unless it's one of those situations they claim to be hunting and turn the animal out of a cage in the back of a truck and some guy is standing there waiting to shoot him. That's not hunting and will never be imo. In that case, the human needs to culled because he don't have the guts to go on a real hunt! I wonder what true Hunters would think of them?
That also apply's to what you say about true Dogmen. Anyone can sit behind their PC and say this and that, but in the end, can they do it? Do they have the guts to put a dog down? There is so much crap on the internet, as we have all seen lately. I don't think true Dogmen would be on the internet telling tales and speaking of things that ppl do today. It was kept in quiet circles and the breaking of that rule is what has happened to this breed. And now I wonder, what would true Dogmen think of them?

Well I love my dog. Im afraid it doesnt streatch to call him one of the family yet he does add something to it. I belive people need to realise that these dogs are property and are disposable if they dont serve a function or they are a threat to anyone.

Humans are top of the food chain and we shouldnt bring dogs to our level. It may seem harsh in saying so but thats merely my firm belief.

I agree Slick. My mentor is actually the one who turned me on to this site. Ive got to say its a great tool for learning about the DOGS. Not the sport. He was the manager of a pawn shop so alot of his day was spent sitting around, bored out of his mind. So what better way to pass the time than to get on here with a bunch of fellow fanciers and talk dogs? I love this site and all it brings to the table. As far as dogs over people, that will never happen on my yard or in my house. I WOULD lose a friend over my dogs, but I would never put someones life or health in danger over ANY animal. I think this site is helpfull to alot of newer fellas that dont know much. The issue is when they're out on the streets talking a bunch of bullshit they learned on the internet and acting like its something they saw in person. But Slick, if this site is such a waste of time and "cyberdoggin" is such bullshit, why do you spend so much time here? If you are here on this site to learn more about bulldogs, then there is a lot to read and digest. If you have lived these dogs long enough to be of help if newbie has a question, SanFrantastic.

The membership of this forum will always be changing. Don't let certain individuals blow your enjoyment and use of this site.

I have had to put down several dogs over the years for different reasons. No shame in it. If you saw your dog run over on Ga Hwy 85 , and it was 30 minutes to a vet to pay to put it down, you wouldnt think twice about sparing that animal the suffering, and yourself the expense.

If you ahve ever been hurt by a crazed dog, you would also know how expedient firearms are when handling a dog that aint right.

Rehab is for cripples and the wounded, not dogs that have served their purpose on this planet.
