I would like to take a moment to clear up a few things so that the site may stay up and running. I am sure, like many of you, that in thinking that this is a great site with many positive aspects for the breed. We have a great opportunity to educate many people so that we all gain more respect for our breed and the loyal, loving dogs that they are.

With that said first and foremost we must, as breed enthusiasts, learn not to fight amongst ourselves. In the end this will only gain momentum for the opposition as the easiest way to win is to divide and conquer. We sometimes just have to agree to disagree. This site will not tolerate any bashing, name calling, or any other inappropriate behavior. As adults this should not be a hard problem to solve. If you are found behaving in this manner you will get one and only one warning, after that you are banned permanently. This has been a huge issue and has to stop. If you have an issue with someone you are welcome to contact any of the following to assist you with the situation.

GAPITS - you are welcome to contact me by pm or email
MARTY - you are welcome to contact me by pm or email

MIAKODA
14ROCK

Another issue that is going to change is I will personally be deleting any links posted by a guest, any that are peddling puppies/dogs, (including pictures in the gallery)and any that promote illegal activities. If you find one in question please let me know by pm.

I would like to close by thanking the people that are no longer working moderators but will always be appreciated for their time and efforts. Their removal was due to an effort to streamline the process for running the site and responding to any issues that may arise.
Simms - Suki - TommyT - Rockstar - Luvinbullies and any that are not named.

Marty you have all my support and i know how you feel lol, specially on the bashing and puppy peddlers thing. Things doesnt change even on different countrys, just ban and let the things flow ! Not even waste your time giving a reason for the ban. There are more forums on the net for that people.

I will not hesitate to do that from now on, as I've said no more Mr nice guy from me :(

and it breaks my heart to have to do this but its a way of life from now on, I will get control of the site or else :(

I leave for work at 5:30 in the morning and get home at 8:00 at night, I don't want to have to shut the site down when I go to bed till I get off work the next day but if that's what it takes so be it... no body in there right mind should have to babysit this site, but thats how it seems to me :(

it would be inappropriate and vengeful to name peole who have been problematic. i hope from now on this problem will be soved. it is absurd that as grown adults that are supposed to be fighting the same fight together that we can not manage to get along. this site, if used appropriately, should be a vast vault of information that people should be able to access without fear of derogatory remarks or nasty comments being left. grow the hell up. it may seem easy for some of you to sit behind that monitor and not think about the repercussions your actions have, but it affects us all. if you diagree with someone, fine. but don't make an ass of yourself trying to prove you are right. because afterall, until you meet other members, we are all just a name. destroy and rebuild. it is necessary at times no matter whose feelings may get hurt in the process. i sincerely hope those who choose to be rude and arrogant find it necessary to take it somewhere else. i am normally a very calm and peaceful person. but when other people start to screw around with things that are important to me it really pisses me off. Marty, i hope you stick to your word and have a ZERO tolerance policy from now on regarding that kind of crap. i have no doubt you will. :)

I am almost certain I will get flamed, or worse for this but here it goes.
This site is amazing but I personally feel like it has started to lean to much to integrating the blue factor, and petbull owners. Hey I have a great idea how about we all stand in a circle and jerk eachother off . IMHO there is way to much back slapping and congradulating going on here. It seems to me it is being shoved down the the throats of real doggers, and when we stand up and say something about it we are attacked. OK bring on the flaming.

Hi Marty I am glad the site is up and running again.

I can tell you from experience, being a moderator for Pedigrees Online, you can never make everyone happy. Sometimes you have to delete a post that is inappropriate for a public forum and you will get people that don't like to be "edited/Censored". And they scream and complain saying they should be able to post anything they want esspecially if they are paying to get on the site like Peds Online. Some people just don't get that their inappropriate post are being read by "ANYBODY and EVERYBODY".

No more mister nice guy ;) Glad to hear that, Cliff

Its freakin retarded that you have to come back to the site after work to see what has to be fixed and controlled on a daily basis, Marty... just ban the members who are burrs in your sock and simply dont let them back because their behavior ends up involving us all when the site ends up getting shut down so their actions can be fixed. A few bad apples causing me to lose ability to sign on pisses me off so they need to shape up or ship the hell out and not come back.

You will not be flamed, but do be aware that as we all will give your opinion/post the respect it deserves, you must also do the same for others.

As for what you said, no we are not condoning the byb issue, the breeding for color or size issue, or any other issue. However, we will not be bullied into not allowing these individuals to view and participate on this site. The vast majority of these people have those dogs because they didn't know any better before purchasing it. Now, I don't believe for one second that ignorance is an excuse, but rather I think it's mostly laziness. But this site has the chance to educate them. If people do not wish to like what our site & it's members have to say, they are free to move on. But if we educate one person & change their way of thinking about these dogs, then mission accomplished.

As for "pet" owners, I don't know one person with working bulldogs that doesn't have a pet bulldog or two. My own 15-year-old "pet" came from someone who helped make this breed what it is today. And he was a "pet" to him before I got him. So if you get technical, 99.99999% of us are "petbull" owners.

And of course I too am glad to be back up and running. :)

The problems with game-dog go far beyond a little bickering between its members or a few dog sales attempted through private (er, so to speak) messages. When I first visited this site -despite a strong reluctance to do so- I was utterly blown away by the kinship I found here. Game-dog was, at the time, the only place on the net where "pet bullers" and working dog people coexisted in any kind of harmony. I invited my good friend, B, who some of you remember, I'm sure, to come check it out. I told him, "You're not gonna believe it." Neither B nor myself were or are "pet bull" kind of people but we liked the atmosphere here at game-dog, and decided to stick around. It wasn't long before both of us were site administrators and devoting hundreds of hours of our time to this unique little place. It became like home. I got to know some good people here, built some strong friendships. One friendship in particular ultimately grew into a happy marriage (muah! Love you, Idgie. You're the greatest person I've ever known).
Although game-dog was fine as it was, some people began to develop ideas that "we can make it better", and so began the age of over-moderation. First came the decision to disallow the selling of dogs through the forums. Fine, I supported that. No problem. But then it was decided that no one would be allowed to discuss anything -ANYTHING- that wasn't strictly dog-related. This was something I strongly opposed. I mean, it really put a dark cloud over the atmosphere that made game-dog so wonderful and unique to begin with. This whole idea of reducing "clutter", combined with the apparent inability of some moderators to distinguish the difference between historical and educational discussion of dogfighting and discussion of current events, which is in violation of the rules, has had a disastrous impact on this site. Even more moderators were added to the already ridiculous number on the staff to keep everyone else "in check." Next thing I know, I'm wading through hundreds of "This message has been deleted by a moderator" tags before I can read what anyone has to say. People are dropping like flies under the button of the ban-happy, and I find myself wondering if George Bush has stuck his little finger into the pie, or if the ghost of Adolph Hitler himself has taken up residence within the game-dog server. The population of people on these forums who genuinely know a thing or two about the working American Pit Bull Terrier has diminished drastically; those who haven't been banned for some absurd reason have become sick and tired of the Gestapo tactics and moved on. Knowledgeable people such as TexasBulldogs and Fifty (aka The Watcher) who once were an integral part of game-dog, now gone. Shon. B. Countless others have taken their leave. The former fellowship and carefree atmosphere of this site has been replaced by tension, animosity, and cynicism.

And WTF? I break my damned leg in two places and my mother-in-law suffers a heart attack during the same period of time, forcing Idgie and myself to take a leave of absence from game-dog, and we come back to find that we've been stripped of our roles as moderator and administrator after all we've put into this site??? And Suki! The girl has done a better job as an admin than just about anyone, and she gets bitch-slapped. The least y'all could have done was offer a little notification that things were going down the way they have. It's enough to make a fella pretty fukking resentful.

Suddenly I feel like I'm sitting over a trap door wired to a lever that has the word "Ban" engraved on it. I'm sure it doesn't matter whatsoever that I literally have more rep points than every member of this site combined.

I hope everyone had amerry Christmas.

with ALL due respect bossman, if you are the site owner, should it not be you who does, in deed, make the final decisions? i know where and why my axe to grind came from. (power higher than me).
but i do find it ironic, that if my thinking is correct (and i've no doubt that it is) the one who is indeed the higher power may even be the very same one who chose to disown this very site and start another one, yet this person still has the final say.

i love you Marty, you know i do, but, who brought who into this world, and who is the one still here, not disowning this site and imo, should be the one making the final decisions?

i'm sure i'll get banned for this, but that's ok. to have to find out that you've been stripped of your "title" via a wwwpublic announcement is enough of an insult already.

LOL, this shit is comical. Why does politics always get in the way of a good thing?

I'm nobody, but i'm going to voice my opinion just because I feel like it. Truth be told, I could care less if this board stays up or not or any other board for that matter. With that said, I think this board is a good site for newbies trying to learn a little about these dogs and for oldtimers that aren't spending as much time in the yard anymore. I know they like coming here and reading and writing about all kinds of stuff and I guess it can be educational to a certain level too and a place to socialize with people that have things in common. I believe you can learn best by actually being in the yard with the dogs, but hell, i'm here once and a while too, lol.

Anyway, I guess i'm just trying to say, Marty, you can't please everyone and if people get upset because they aren't moderators of an internet dog forum than that's a goddamn joke, lol! People should be on these boards for non-selfish reasons anyway. I know some of you are probably going to cuss me and tell me to mind my own business and go fuck off, which is cool, i'll most likely just laugh it off anyway. But seriously, this board is more for the newbies and those not active in the game anyway. Ya'll should remember how much you liked this board before you became moderators. Don't punish the newbies for political divide!

But, like I said, it doesn't affect me whether or not you shut it down anyway, but this political BS has go to go already! And i'm definatley not a righteous man, so you're all welcome to tell me to go to hell, lol!

mr. mark, i think it's hard to understand how people feel when you don't have the whole story. i would've said this via PM but since my demotion, i am way over the PM limit, and i'm not willing to spend hours here deleting shit.

I hope everyone had amerry Christmas.I would take this to a Private Message if you had the respect to do so but since you didnt I will not have the respect to do so either. I have never done business with you or even tried to befriend you or ever even spoke to you about anything other than a couple people and dogs we mutually knew several years ago...and if you have gone about your private life and personal business and decided to formulate a judgement about someone you better have some proof or balls to back it up to my face or in person before slandering me in public.... because I can GUARANTEE you know of nothing I have ever done in my life with the dogs and I swear to GOD if you ever call me a fraud in an open forum again when you have no right or proof or reason to do so I will personally slander you right back for the rest of my life at every chance I get because I have never done anything to you to deserve being called a fraud by some ass who dont even know me. And to Marty or Shon or whoever has some sense of control around here I suggest the slanderous attitude and chaos on this site with some of these so called "members" gets corralled real quick because I do believe I was banned from this site on one occasion for saying and posting some of the same things being said in this thread right now and if its fair to ban me then I believe its fair to ban some of the people here right now who feel it is in their right to judge condemn and disrespect other members without just cause.
I have done business with one person on this site where I accepted money and I will keep this person unnamed unless they decide to come forward but other than that I have never done anything, sold anything, or said anything to deserve being called a fraud by someone I dont even associate with. If anyone here on this site, can, or wants or thinks they deserve to call me a fraud then call me out on the carpet right now with your evidence because im here and ready to take what you got that makes you think its ok to give me that label. This is the best formatted APBT site that I know about and we can still make this thing better. Is there anyway we can start over

Look I will not allow this thread to become a pissing match, idgie and Rockstar has done more for me/this site than you'll will ever know and have been here from day one almost, so don't even go there, Mr you know what you've done in the past so let it be! I might have been banned for joking around here and making people laugh and whatevr but I was always allowed back because its known I am a serious site member and just because I aint been here since the beginning and done this or that or got a billion butt points for doing chores around here dont mean I should be called a fraud in open forum and you defend someone calling me that with no evidence or proof. Anything anyone can say can be shot down with my proof in not only my records but my emails which a certain best friend and admin member of this site that has read personally on his own computer...so nothing can be said in reference to me being a fraud regarding dogs or people here or in other countries...because of some asses who supposedly said it in the past makes it tru? is that it? You and or nobody else has any evidence or reason to call me that or back someone up who does...so tell me how its fair in open forum because it aint an issue of it being a pissing contest... since I have been here I have not only been a well behaved member but a good contributor so WTF...this is more an issue of technical difficulties and respect around here.

No need to let this thread get out of hand. Those that are offended, I dont know what to tell ya, except brush it off.Dont expect it to get out of hand and it wont but if its assumed it will get out of hand then its gonna. I know your just trying to put your 2 cents in but why does someone have to come in and assume its gonna get out of hand when nobody has led anyone to believe that?...So far I believe everyone has been adult enough in this thread their just not responding. Hmmm go figure.

Ok you've got your 2 cents in and I've asked you politely to give it up, but I can see that's not going to happen, if you can not take it to PMs then I will git er done, he did respond to you but deleted it out of respect for me/the site so STFU.

Enough said!

Misterdogman, I've removed the reference to you from my post, and I offer you a public apology. Any issues you and I have butted heads about in the past are irrelevant and I should have let sleeping dogs lie. Again, my sincere apologies.
