I just made a myspace account last night, have no clue what in the hell i'm doing. What does phished mean ?
In computing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computing), phishing is an attempt to criminally (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criminal) and fraudulently (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraud) acquire sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Password) and credit card (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Credit_card) details, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. eBay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EBay), PayPal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PayPal) and online banks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_banking) are common targets. Phishing is typically carried out by email (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email) or instant messaging (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant_messaging),[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing#_note-0) and often directs users to enter details at a website, although phone contact has also been used.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing#_note-1) Phishing is an example of social engineering (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_engineering_%28computer_security%29) techniques used to fool users.[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing#_note-2) Attempts to deal with the growing number of reported phishing incidents include legislation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legislation), user training, public awareness, and technical measures.
so, if you get those, "oh my friend has a crush on you" or any other stupid "questionable" message, do NOT open them. effs up your account
also
if you're already signed in, and you're, say, wanting to see someone's pics, so you click onto them, but it comes up that you gutta sign in again, DO NOT=that's how people get your password and screw up your account.

I got phished also. I cannot blame Myspace for what the people on there do.
it ability to network and so forth is very good. Just avoid the stuff you dont like.
Myspace is like the planet, full of idiots. Don't let them dictate what useful purpose Myspace can have for you, if you desire.
