[QUOTE=GameBredDJ]Like I've said before, I love my country but I fear my gvmt. My Mom has worked for the Dept of Defense for 28 years and she is one of the most devout patriots I have ever met. She sends me these things all the time. Some I like, some I dont. This one was pretty damn good though. I hope you enjoy! images/smilies/smile.gif

'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

How can you fight an idea? There is no clear cut enemy except for fanatical Muslims. How do we know who these people are? We don't. It's a guessing game. Not only that, but we have violated International Law and went against the Constitution by NOT declaring a war and engaging in an aggressive war. Aggressive wars are prohibited by our Constitution.

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ?

Yes, but it would haven't have happened if we had secure borders and actually enforced visa rules. But on the other hand, have we not been over on their homeland for 10+yrs dropping bombs on them?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

See above. Same question worded differently.

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was 'desecrated' when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?..Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

As a Christian, I sure hope you respect them. Jesus is the most quoted prophet in the Qur'an and is said to be returning in the end days. Deliberately kicking holy script is disrespectful and are we not supposed to lead by example as Christians and Americans? Leave that kind of behavior for people lower on the totem pole.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

Osama issued a statement declaring that he was not responsible for the attacks that happened on 9/11 and that it was against the teachings of Islam along with other numerous statements that he wants the USA out of the region so they can live somewhat peacefully. Take it for what it's worth.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia .

Unlike the USA, they do have a state religion. Islam. It expects all it's citizens to be Muslim but it does NOT prohibit people from practicing their religion of choice in private. They just can't openly practice in the public. You can own a Bible and practice Christianity in the privacy of your own dwelling. Much like the Bible says to anyway.

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

Fanatical Muslims don't account for all Muslims.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

Nothing else to say so let's resort to any type of personal attack...

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

They also don't care about themselves or their religion that strictly prohibits blowing themselves up. A Jihad is a Holy War where dying in battle to protect the religion of Islam is one of the greatest sacrifices that could be made. Suicide bombing innocents is not a Jihad and is looked down upon by the common Islamic follower.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

We shouldn't even be in this war according to both International Law and the United State's Constitution.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

Morality. Who is right, who is wrong?

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.

Once again, are we not supposed to be a world leader and yet we are behaving like this? Lead by example and show why America is supposedly the best place to live and be part of.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.

I'm sure if you were shot, the last thing on your mind is not to move.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.

What if this prisoner was innocent? I'm less worried about my tax dollars buying books and food than paying for an unjustified war. What's the basic teaching of Christianity? "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." Again, lead by example. Be morally superior.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care !!

Another personal insult to fill in void spots.

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!

Yes ridiculous that the US is condemningn everyday Muslims b/c of a few fanatics. Good thing Christians aren't branded bad names because of the Crusades. And yes ridiculous that we are fighting an illegal war with an enemy that's impossible to defeat.

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

Instead of going in guns blazing, maybe we should actually listen to what our "enemies" want. I mean, how would most people here feel if China set up embassies, barracks, and dropped bombs on us for over 10 years?

'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem.' -- Ronald Reagan

"We don't understand the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics." --Ronald Reagan

I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......I hope you forward all this.

'If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.' Also by.. Ronald Reagan

Then maybe we should start working on the USA inside of the USA and not a world apart.

One last thought for the day:

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said: 'A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out.'

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OF THEM.
AMEN!

Please, think about these things before passing them off. I'm as much a Christian, American, and patriot as anyone. But being a patriot doesn't mean acting like a child where the USA is always right. Being a patriot is standing up to the nation for the nation. Pull the troops home and let's worry about America. The middle east has been in war for over 2000 years. The war is against an ideology and ideologies cannot be defeated. If people are worried about losing, the only other option is to be in a stale mate until the end of the world. There are always gonna be fanatics and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

Just thought that i would add that a vast majority of people believe Nick Berg occurence was a sham. Video has been studied extensively, and many strongly believe Nick Berg was dead for days before the making of the actual video. Why this could be true is obvious, and after all the evidence and reading on the subject, i personally feel that it was a fake. JMO
