America spends billions of dollars in foreign aid trying to solve world hunger as well as the homeless pet crisis. I think we could solve two important issues, world hunger and homeless and unwanted pets. Instead of euthanizing all these homeless and unwanted animals we could send them to third world countries as food. I know the social stigma in America prevents most from even considering the appalling idea of eating a beloved pet, but in a lot of other countries it is widely acceptable to eat dogs and cats. I might be labeled an inhuman monster for entertaining such an idea but I honestly believe that this is a viable option for both causes… opinions please

and before the firestorm begins, i love dogs amd would love to see every single one in a loving home and i would do it all myself if i could.

I sort of see where your coming from here, but the thought of skinning dogs alive like those coons were, I think I'll pass on this one.

If they would do it in a humane manner that would be one thing. But I spent a year in Korea & saw how they keep those animals & how they kill them & trust me, it's not pretty. The green needle is a WAY better option for those animals.

Besides, the countries we blow our tax dollars on usually don't eat cats or dogs anyway.

ain't nothin like seein a living cat held by the neck w/ tongs get cracked over the head w/ a stick to daze it, then have it body dropped into boiling water, and then *whoosh* the skin comes right off. just gut that s.o.b. w/ one quick slice up the belly, and it's ready for the grill.

if i had to, i'd eat a cat or a dog as long as they weren't mine ;)

I realize it's purely a cultural deal we have against eating cats, dogs, horses etc. but I'd have to be way hungry!

Dog burgers sure sounds nasty to me, but eating cows is sacrelige (sp?) in India. Shoe's on the other foot when you think of it that way.

LB..... That's twisted, but funny.

i am all for this!!!!!!!!

and shit , MOST of you dont know what its like to be starving

as a former NCAA wrestler and huge weight cutter.... hunger/thirst can mess with your mind... these starving people would HAPPILY accept this form of food. After all, that was the original purpose of dogs and animals.. to EAT

i can say from experience of cutting wieght...... going 3 days with out food and 12-20 oz of water per day with mass exercise...

it can make sewer/gutter water look DELICIOUS!
