do ur research before u decide to get a new pup, don't just go out and buy one cause it looks pretty. and yes the blue's are only bred for looks, which in turn creates health problems and temperment issues in some instances

Also, the majority of blues you will find are American Bullies, not American Pit Bull Terriers. As far as temper, I've heard they are pretty laid back, but their health, I have heard they have a lot of hip problems and breathing problems (I'm not expert on Bullies though). But if you are interested in an American Pit Bull Terrier, then you came to the right place, because there are a lot of knowledgable people here who can teach you quite a bit.

There are some quality blue dogs out there. dogs that are selectivly bred and not just for looks. i would suggest doing a search on the site.
Health and Temperment should come naturally to a well bred dog.

Sounds like he is looking for a bully. Not my cup of tea, however if that is what u really want its your choice. Myself and most of the people i have meet prefer game bred pits. I hope you consider this type of dog, you will not be disappointed. However, like the others have said, do some research. I sent u a private message, i know some friends in florida that are great breeders. Just let me know if i can help.

The majority of people on this site own game bred dogs, not blues. I have blues and been involved with blues for a while. Like all breeds of dogs the temper varies depending on alot of things, how the dog is raised (kenneled or inhouse) training, etc. Females are alot more laid back. My male (pictured below) is a dominant male and has to be kept in check.
You do not have to buy in Florida. Most breeders ship
As far as health. The main problem will be skin conditions (hives, mange,). I don't know if its a pit problem ( I hear alot about game bred pits that may have skin issues) I had to deal with skin issues in the past.
As far as the look of blues. Some are more extreme in look (bully), some less extreme, and some have a traditional gamey type look. It all depends on what you want.
As far as regestries, Most are UKC, ADBA (dual regestered) and some will have a 3rd regestry ABKC (mainly Razors Edge)
As far as price you could spend as little as $500 to as much as $4,500 depending on the bloodline and also depending on who you know.
Hope this helps. If you need anything else. PM me.
