Welcome to the community :)
American Pit Bull Terriers are not registerable by the American Kennel Club.
They do register Staffordshire terriers though.Registries for the APBT are ADBA,UKC,AADR,BFKC,APBR,CKC ect.. I suggest you check these out.
I dont know much about your bloodlines but im sure the search engine will find you lots of stuff.

I believe you got yourself an American Staffordshire Terrier...While yes, they can be registered as an American Pit Bull Terrier by the UKC and some other registeries. They will always be different breeds to me. No disrespect. I have an Amstaff and an APBT.

Welcome to the forum. :)
There are great ppl here and alot of great info. Yes you will see that some ppl are not fond of blue dogs. But I think that has to do with the ppl that breed them and pawn them off as APBT. And sell them calling them rare. Everyone has their favorite color on a dog. And Everyone has their dog for a specific purpose (showing, hunting, companionship.....)
All that matters is that you love, take care of, and control your dog. Again if you have any questions feel free to ask. There are tons of helpful people on here.
Also post a ped if you can.

Gaff bloodlines are Amstaff. GAFF IS Actually one of the better lines that you will get from that bloodline for they have many champions (show of course). There are good websites out there about that bloodline. I am curious though where did you get the dog from? Can you post pedigree?
Welcome to the site. Am staff is a close cousin to the pitbull. Looks are simular but not the same but they will make a good sturdy dog. One simularity is dont trust them around other dogs they will go for it. So dont get too comfortible. Again welcome to the site there is plenty to learn here....
