Just another feeding question, so don't get all excited....
I've been feeding my dogs Canidae for a little while now, and they seem to be doing pretty good. But one dog seems like he's getting a little too much sodium in his diet. This was suggested by a friend, so I'm not sure how credible it is, but sometimes he will pee while inside (seperation anxiety, still working on it), but as it dries (on tile) it kind of has a glassy, crystalized look to it. Like it's freezing kind of. It also doesn't look as watery as I think it should. Any ideas how to fix this? He gets a lot of water, I try to keep the water bowl filled, but he doesn't drink it a lot. The only time I don't let him at it freely is right after a good work out, since he tries to drink a lot real fast and pukes. He is about 48-50 lbs and eats 2 cups of canidae twice a day.
I going to try to water his kibble down when I feed him, which I think might help, but if it's something else, I'd rather change that ASAP.
Any ideas?
