is it true that meat shortens the life span of dogs??
A vet told me that raw meat shortens a dogs lifespan to around 7 years...
I dont buy it though, so I posted this for your opinions and experince with raw meat...:)

hehehe... he sure did sound stupid... I told him I do feed my dogs raw, they are healthy, and he said they wont last 7 yrs.... hmmm.... Good thing He's not my dog's vet... he's just a vet in the animal hospital......:D

nothing could be further from the truth,they say the same thing with people who eat meat.i eat nothing but meat,potatoes,and a few types of vegetables and look how long i have lived.granted i had a heart attack but still live to tell the tale.back when i was a young boy our dogs ate nothing but table scraps including meat and you could not kill them things with a hammer.like was allready said report that ''vet''.thats a wolf in sheeps clothes if you ask me,next he will be there in favor of BSL in some form.
