By best, what do you mean? Best producing? Best for what sport; Weight Pulls, Conformation, Hunting, pet?
There really is no "best bloodline", but different lines excell in different activities. If you let us know what you are wanting to accomplish, there are probably several people on here who can help you.

This is the most asked question. It varies by the dog amos. Im not into weight pulls so I couldnt give you an acurate answer as far as blood lines go but look at the Dam and Sire and their accomplishments, not the peds. As far as hunting goes, my mentor had been using Bullyson with great results for the last 15 years. From what I understand, Duke, the Sire to the litter we had last year could kill a hog. J said its the smartest hog catching maching he's ever seen. His son Chief was trying to catch at 4 months old. Im a fan of all the Eli stuff though so I'd have to go with that.

If there were just ONE best bloodline then everyone would own and run it. Top bloodlines are always changing, what places first this year might not even place at all next year. Sure some bloodlines do very well with certain things but just because you got a great working dog does not mean that any of the offspring will produce the same quality.
I myself am very parcial to the Colby line of dogs my brother who grew up with the same dogs as me now runs Garner bred dogs and Bedreaux bred dogs for hog doggin. Now that doesn't mean that colby dogs are not good just that my brother has found something that is working better for him this time around. By the time he needs new dogs who knows what he will end up with, there is always something better out there.
To me the best bloodline is the one that your running as long as it is producing the results that the owner is after.
