Were there any Ch. or Gr. Ch. Bitches that fought in the pit? I was recently noticing that all the legendary APBT I've learned about here have been Males. I was wondering if they fought bitches. And if so, Were there any famous ones? If not, how did they determine that the bitch was worthy of being bred?

Brewer's Rosie (Zebo and Vindicators sister) is very famous, but although she was game tested she was never formally matched. Because of her traits...the record of her litter mates, etc. she was too valuable as a brood bitch. She wasn't a ch or gr ch, but I thought I'd mention her.

There were only two good dogs from that litter Banjo and BB the rest weren't so hot.
Coy actually tracked all the littermates down and bought them all, but the rest never worked out.
Banjo was bred to his aunt, Gr Ch Tina.
